Zoner gremlins.

Thanks for the additional context. Looking forward to things!

Nothing says that the Emperor can't also be injured if the Battlecruiser is damaged enough. Something like that could easily put a heavy burden on his political agenda. He may be forced to spend more time in Gallia than he intends to due to injuries, leaving openings for dissidents to make covert moves against him without him being able to stop them. Or it could lead to him making poor decisions about the deployment of military assets following his return. It could also go the other way, where he is maybe lightly wounded and uses it to rally his supporters, making him even more of a force to be reckoned with in Rheinland. There's a lot of options that can be done with this outcome.

We all know that the Story team is not really interested in letting players have any sort of major influence on the state of Sirius anymore, so can we just all stop being di** to each other and just enjoy the event ?

Personally, I think if the devs really wanted to do something akin to a player influenced and GM directed D&D-like campaign, something could probably be arranged, but there would need to be considerable stakes from all involved sides in order to prevent people just gaming the system with either infinite players or logging 24/7.

As for the actual event, I'm glad Gallia is again getting some attention. It has suffered from the unwanted child syndrome far too long.

Like if Hessians and Corsairs show up at the same time and attack the convoy and not eachother they wont get smacked for teaming right?

This has yet to be addresed by staff, 'attack from a different angle' doesn't really cover it as people have to log other factions when they die. They could easily show up as a hessian during the 'corsair raid' if they died early enough. Simply clearing this rule for the duration of the event for participating parties would resolve this. Considering the attackers potentially have to cycle between up to 10 factions this is bound to occur

Yeah this storyline is player driven, and I Hope to dear god you won't pull a Reeves and deny why I started this RP years ago - so Cologne and Zurich have overlapping Zois between Rheinland and Gallia.

The RP is there, don't let me down story when we send the requests!

And just shoot lawfuls geez, nobody will sanction you, this isn't rocket science

As long as you don’t shout “Hessian brothers, the Corsairs are here to aid you!” and accept that two opposing sides can come working together in circumstances like the event one, there will be no issues. This event is no different than, say, Mollys vs BAF vs Corsairs in New London. However, don’t take this as a blank permission for everyone to gang on the lawfuls.

You’re free to shoot whoever you want, or to put it more broadly - roleplay appropriately to the character and faction you’re representing.

Is there anything that needs clarifying? So long as you're not literally in group with each other, prioritise targets as you see fit.

set up the defenders on same amount, giving double to enemies will only make double the trouble in bring something in safety, attack a heavely escorted convoy should mean you suffer severely loses, not otherwise ... xD
Again other event when you will get ganked by enemies as hell

Seeing the amount of people interested in attacking, i expect this the way it will pan out.
