Name changes have just been completed much earlier than expected with a few problems. All of my characters now sport the =BSG= tag, many thanks to Wolfpack for doing that even tho only one of them had an NCC I changed my trader to show =BSG=(T)Gemenon_Traveler which means the (T) is in the wrong place (didn't realise the mistake until too late.) So the correction to that will have to wait for the next round.
It appears that all of Doom's characters save Hyperion have been deleted-for the 2nd time! We have contacted Korrd and are waiting for responce before we act on that problem. Overall cost of that mishap is over 200 mil. Needless to say we are very concerned about that.
So far I haven't heard from any other [CR] members regarding our merger, other than Doom. I'm assumign they're all out for the holidays, but I've PMed everyone with a brief explaination.
I've started distributing rank insignia via PMs to include in signatures.
I would like to discuss with everyone our choice of having a bomber squad. The Taidan bomber is a great ship, but its not a colonial ship. Granted, the Telarca isn't Colonial either, but it at least looks the part. I propose we request the admins to add the Raptor model to the mod in the next version. Doom has some modding experience and can assist the Admins in implimenting it.

Clan News Update:
With the current active strenght of the BSG now at 20 members the President would like to remind all members that we are now one of the larger clans active on the server.
As such, we, as a roleplaying clan on a roleplaying server, must lead by example and remain true to our Role play. The President has mentioned that he has noticed many pilots from Warhammer Battle Group sporting inaccurate affiliations and has instructed the Command Staff to set things to rights. So...get on it folks. A simple solution is to head to Edingurgh and rage upon the Gaians until your affiliation shows as Planetform. Pilots showing inaccurate affiliation will be told politely, then lwarned and then taken to task. Due to the Holiday season, I am setting a time frame of 3 weeks to get this settled. Many members have been named by the President, including myself, and we shall set things right .
On a positive note, Warhammer Battle group has heeded the Presidents instructions to revise all name tags into a standardised military format and this has been done in a very prompt manner. This excersise has cost the Battle Group in excess of 100 million credits as most pilots have completely remade their characters rather than wait for admin NCC tasking. Bravo. Well done.
Galactica Battle Groups renaming excersise is still underway. Admiral Adama has been tasked to get results soon.
Civilian Fleets re-tagging excersise is also well under way and I applaude all Civ pilots who have chosen to brave attack in the spirit of Roleplay.
A senior pilot has been selected to assume the position of XO of the Galactica Battle Group. His name will be published once the President has been informed. Admiral Adama has signed off on my nominee.
Due to overwhelming responce and applications, current recruitment has been curtailed and new applicants will be accepted into the clan by invitation only. All applications will be KIV. We now have a waiting list and the President has ordered a 20 day window put into effect. Any current pilots inactive for 20 days without permissions or explanation will be placed into the inactive pool and after a further 20 days, dropped from the clan.
Also, all pilots failing to respond to military activation while on line without good cause will be severely warned and dropped from the clan if the offence is repeated. If you choose to ignore hails for assistance you do not belong here chaps.
Take note: HT Steve Mcleod has placed a Bounty of 10 million for kills on any members of the BSG. All pilots are to remain vigilant and take note of the identities of any attackers. The Fleet will ensure that any attackers upon the BSG will be repaid in Spades!

I will do some research into the most efficient way to change an affiliation once it is already set.
the Gemenon Traveler has a bit of a problem, even when I get the (T) in the right place, I will still have too many letters. As it is, my trader shows =BSG=(T)Gemenon_Travele with the R missing from the end. I believe I can remove the underscore from the middle and fix it though.
Our ID systems haven't changed I assume. Because Planetform is a corporation they are not allowed to fly cap ships, I had [CR] military units carry Freelancer IDs found on New Tokyo.

Admiral I would like to base our player activity evaluation on their participation in forums as much as on server. This would be to compensate for the fact that the two of us can't cover the server all the time and some players may consistently be online when we are not. I want every =BSG= player to participate in forum activity, reporting all engagements, negotiations, locker room chat, weight room chat, mess hall chat...anything and everything. If more than one pilot participate in an event, choose who will report it and the reporter should mention who he/she was flying with.
If some people are uncomfortable using the role play forums then they have to show your worth on the server even more.

1) Battle Cruiser : =BSG=ArrowOfAthena commandered by Col Grace Park has been commissioned and awaiting orders in Cambridge. (Name approved by Colonial One)
2) Fighter/Bomber : =BSG=Boomer & =BSG=Boomer_(B) IDs have been revised and are now conformed to Planetform. Both units returned to flight status and awaiting orders.
