You're actually wrong, once a learning AI gains motion no matter how long it takes to develop it does have the potential to equal or surpass our brain power.

True, but thats our brainpower, not nomads, the guys are telepathic :D. And I dont think the harvesters will have a chance to capture one, they would have to kill it, or else the nomad can change form while its in a ''robotic lab'' and mess everything up, hehe, Go Nomads!:cool: But youre right about humans, harvesters can probably capture and control us...

this was the idea, the mechanical 'creature' doesnt have to connect to the mindshare at all, it simply forces the individual nomad organism to do what it wants with controlling impulses directly to it's brain.
The model was a joke btw =P the spider-style thing with tendrils that go into the nommie brain would work much better.
Point being, Machines > Space Squids.

more or less this boils down to faction's claiming how powerful they are....
Nomads: We're telepathic so we cannot be taken over by anything artificial
AI: With a tissue sample it is possible to, through some research, develope a drug to keep an individual nomad's connection to the mindshare blurred enough to disable their control of the form. This would make it so it would be simple to control the nomad
Nomads: Our vales will disasemble the drug's deleivery system before it can make contact.
AI: We can use our Nanites to render the micro-organisms in the Vale inert
Nomads: Luckly the high energy of the Nomad tissue would disable the Nanites in a fasion simmilar to an EMP
AI: We have more than enough shielding to succeed in breaching a nomad's skin
etc....
and we will RP like this in circles because both factions think they are stronger, smarter or more resiliant than the other

Well, to make that research, you need to capture a few nomads, which is kinda hard like i said up there ^
And yes, even if they can, youre right, we would be in a never ending chain...

It's a nomad LF with a camera stuck on top.....
I mean..... not to mention nomads dont use metals
If you can change the camera to something more nomady and have an organic texture though, it would look very nice.

The Metal isnt nomadic anyway, read the post explaining what it is :D its supposed to be a nomad captured by the harvesters, and putting it under their control..saying again..NOT..Possible
