And I suggest for the next battle in order to try to avoid lag for the distant players to get rid NPCs somehow. E.g. Connecticut, or if it has to be in Theta then to fight 5k+ above or bellow the main system plane where there are no NPC patrols. It should help. I used this strategy for PvP when I had connection problems and it worked...
