In-RP, once traders start adopting this mindset, Kusari runs out of materials to build their ships with.

Meanwhile, Bretonia still has Dublin...

Not really, it means Samura and Kishiro gain a monopoly on shipping in Kusari, without need for the government to officially ban foreign traders from Kusari. The materials will still get to Kusari, just in the well made hulls of Kusari made Kishiro and Samura built ships. You see this is the goal of the AFA, so I will thank you on the compliment on a job well done.

And this is what causes a House to stagnate, as Gallia has. If outsiders are told not to come, and they don't, then the House dies in a pool of its own vomit. And people have wondered about the lack of activity in Kusari...

I had a KNF bomber char in kusari, i sucked the money out of him and deleted him because It was so inactive there. Somehow we need to drag people to kusari. Bretonia is medium active, Rhienland is medium-low, Liberty is UTTERLY HIGH. Gallia is non-existant. Its a bit sad really.

I suppose that is how Samura became the largest corporation in Sirius? Because the house is dying of stagnation due to their preference to not deal with foreigners. Right.

Not true at all. Kusari is far from inactive. In fact right now it's just about the 2nd most active house. In the past it's always been just as if not more active than Rheinland.

I wasn't talking about in-RP stagnation.

Pretty much its only the unlawful Kusari that can properly hunt the FA/Hogosha. If you want to stop them, join the GC/BD. I've even had several people ask me where are all the ]bd[, who should be stopping the FA/Hogosha. I still stand that player-wise, neither the GC or BD (or even together) can really overcome the growing popularity of the Kusari Quasi-lawfuls (however, of course this is a good thing for Kusari).

But anyway, this is all good for my war against powerminers (GO FA! GO!!!!)

Kusari doesn't like foreigners.

Kusari is the craziest house in Sirius.

You are an outsider most likely, get out.

I <3 Kusari.

I love my Farmer-thing. I love how he is racist.

It's awesome.

Kusari relationships - Exsiled_one - 11-27-2009

I started writing a post, and all that was in my head is "keep it short, simple" but then it turned out into a wall of text. I erased it, because we need to keep it simple, although, there's nothing simple about Kusari.

Look, indies. As a group. Whole of you. Kusari doesn't really like independent people.
It is:
a) Not something Kusari is used to having (Samura and Kishiro killed all competition or bought it, unlawfulls force others to join them or perish)
b) You tend to breed more trouble than you bring benefits, since one indie is followed by few pirates, few mercs and generally - just trouble.
Don't expect alot of help in Kusari, unless you understand Kusari as it is. It's a dance. Why do I say that when I risk people calling me gay? Well, it's mostly because it is a dance. You cannot use RP in Kusari as a blunt heavy tool. You have to use it as a scalpel. And if you do master that (and not everyone will), you will do good in Kusari.

A tip for a factioned player from outside of Kusari heading in Kusari.
* Make sure you have purpose there. Basically, make sure you're trading some useful commodity to Kusari.
* Make sure you belong there. DSE, Ageira, Interspace, ALG. You get what I mean. No Planetform.
* Roleplay. Be polite. You're entering foreign space, least you can do is actually contact KNF.
* KNF or KSP should help you since you're factioned, organized and probably have a rp going via forums somewhere between your faction and Kusari. Aka, you're useful to Kusari.
* The local authorities still have the right to tell you they're too busy. Let them. Know that every action has an reaction. After second time you get pirated (take screenshots), make sure you contact KNF with list of suspects and harass them for few days about getting things done.
* See, this here is a tipping point. KNF and KSP should help your faction by now. Not really because they want to, but because you have a reaaaaally strong reason to bring escorts with you next time. Foreign escorts. And no Kusari personnel loves foreign military in their house. Actually they send them away.
They will send them away, but remember those paperworks you took about your first two piracies? That could help. See, you're dancing already.

I know this might burden KNF and KSP bit, but I hope I managed to explain some part of Kusari, some part of KNF/KSP and their relation to the quasi lawful FA and Hogosha (samura's dogs, yes), and I hope I explained some of the perks of being in the official faction.

Also, whoever said Corsairs are cannibalistic pirates of carribian really sucks. Way to further a bad stereotype about Corsairs. They haven't been cannibals ever. They ate human flesh (yes, i know duh) when they had nothing to eat, like centuries ago and things have improved since then. Corsairs aren't cannibalistic anymore, but hold those that sacrificed themselves so others can live in great favor. Saying they're cannibals just furthers the stereotype that Corsairs have labeled on them. That's why people made Zoners while flying Corsairs because noone could get it in their head that Corsairs can actually trade as well. But enough of off topic.

Nobody wants to work for a corrupt government and this house is publicly clearly corrupt. People can deal with rumors, like that rumor that Bretonia was dealing in cardi or whatever. But solid evidence like this is just to crappy to bother.

The Hogs alliance with Kusari is one of the biggest nitpicks I have with Kusari. By now the Farmers should be a bit more civil since their being a bit more widely accepted as a political party.
