Outcast Fighters - Tovig - 01-07-2010 Sabre, of course. Outcast Fighters - Boss - 01-07-2010 Switchie. Outcast Fighters - Lucas_Fernandez - 01-07-2010 Sabre! No Falcata! NO SABRE! NOOO FALCATA!!! i can't choose between my favorites.:( other *whisper* old Red Cat :ylove: Outcast Fighters - CaltuRe - 01-07-2010 Sabre of course Outcast Fighters - Zapp - 01-07-2010 Closest thing I have right now is an Outcast Guard tagged Terrorist ID'd Sabre. But back when I had an Outcast, main ship was Sabre yes. So Sabre either way. Outcast Fighters - Trildor - 01-08-2010 Sabre all the way. Outcast Fighters - Zelot - 01-08-2010 switchy. Outcast Fighters - Foror - 01-08-2010 ran up the costs and realized it would take around 3 mill to make a scimitar and set it up, so i decided to try it out- trying to get an idea where it would be usefull, because the shield class max's at 8, one shot by a VHF seems to take out the shields, and wiht an armor upgrade to double my armor, i'd have around10k health- if the opponents good at aiming, i find myself dodging most of the time and its hard to put anyone ont he defensive O.o it is funt o fly though, it just feels so fragile in comparison to a vhf EDIT:or, i'm probbly justa noob:( Outcast Fighters - Thexare - 01-08-2010 Scimitars aren't easy to fly (as shown by the fact that only two people so far focus on them), but your biggest threat is usually mines rather than guns. If you're not fighting something like a Karasu or Crow you should have an easy time staying behind or to the side of your enemies, and continuous strafing - vertical especially - will help evade fire from other enemies. But a nuke will still one-shot you even with Armor 8. O.o maybe for shootin pursuing starfleas but.. and then some times it felt like it turned like a brick @__@ however, i liked that all the mounting ports on it were close togather, so anything closeish you shot maintained a forward motion, rather than if it missed it when at near 45 degree angle from your forward direction btw, Thexare, i wanna see ya handling a scimitar, i'm interested in seeing the correct way how to do it, cause i know for sure i'm not able to keep it up. i got alot of work to do, but i understand your basic points, i think O.o |
