Folks Using Enemy NPC's as Allies - Knucklehead - 09-08-2007 In my experience, the only way to get a base angry with guns is to shoot at a turret on that base. As far as the targetting priority is concerned, it doesn't matter what the NPC's status is before they're hit. Once they're hit, they add you to the threat board and open fire. If there's another ship on the threat board, they'll shoot at it as well. The main issue (which has been pointed out several times already) is that the Corsair in question should have been on the BAF's threat board already. The tactic used is cowardly and should not be possible, given the Corsairs are most prevalent in Bretonia (compared to their activity in the other houses; the only other house system I've seen them in is Shikoku). I understand that it's tough to keep all your enemies hostile on the board (I mean, whenever Eman shoots an outcast or their allies, the gaians get a little friendlier, and vice versa). But it is possible. (please note, if anything in here is not coherent, it's because I'm tired from driving to Portland and back[roughly 280 miles round trip].) |
