' Wrote:Alright, so, I've read through it all and some things just don't seem to make sense.

Why would the UC simply allow another mafia to walk into Gallia and profit out of their black market?

If the new government was backed by Kishiro, why are they economically weaker than Samura? (or rather, how does Samura still have any influence at all)

And wasn't Kishiro a Blood Dragon sympathizer? It makes sense that they'd not want them on the government, but if Samura is still around and stronger than them then it would make sense to keep them around to attack them rather than outright destroy them.

Why would Gallia deny an alliance with Kusari and outright blast the crap out of them just to be neutral later on and attack the same target as they would?

How in the world would the Ronin survive if they have no economic backing? I mean, they are just a few shreds of the military left behind in Bretonia. They have no one supplying them if Gallia has taken over the Taus. And they can't exactly pirate Bretonian corps now. If they even pirate at all. Their MO wasn't that well described, to be honest.

If I didn't read wrong, The remaining KNF fleet will be fighting alonside with Bretonia in a nebula between newcastle and leeds? I have to re-check

' Wrote:I disagree with what the Blood Dragon's future should be.. I think it would be more reasonable for them to start doing large scale attacks on the KNF, since they're already extremely weak.

Meh.

I notice that the entry for the Blood Dragons doesnt really say anything about what the Dragons actually intend to do themselves.

That is fine by me - because I have a number of contingencies I can put into place.

If the new government wants to send fleets into Chugoku? I say let them come! They havent been able to dislodge us for hundreds of years - why would they succeed now when they are weaker than ever - whilst the Dragons are stronger than ever before. We have our ongoing funding form the GMG intact, and our Cruisers (jointly developed with the Order) will be battle-ready.

See whilst the Dragons might lose direct cooperation from the Outcasts - we havent really had that for some time now. All during the Bretonian war, the Dragons havent been reckless in their strategy. We have been quite content to let Kusari waste itself in war.

Now their fleet lies cut off - and if the government wants to sacrifice more lives waging a domestic campaign it will blow up in their face politically as well as militarily.

And that is just the military aspect. Politically, the Samura-backed Emperor has been deposed - that is half the battle won as far as the Dragons are concerned!

The time might well come for the some within the Dragons to start promoting a peaceful resolution - pushing for the Hideyoshi dynasty to be restored to the throne - in return for giving up arms and having a symbolic Emperor rather than another dictator.

If sounds heretical to the Dragons - well it is! This line of RP is designed to cause division within the Dragons themselves as much as advance the Taishogun's political goal of taking the throne. A peaceful end between the Dragons and Kusari would possibly see violence within the Dragons themselves as they try to 'go straight'.

This is only a portion of the sorts of strategies I can put into play. I look forward to next version and the possibilities it brings...

As current head of the La Brise family, I will say that I can see us buying artifacts off the Hogosha, as for letting them have access to our terratory, bases etc. well, I don't see it happening, without similar offers from the hogosha

Our space and market are supremely important to the Unione corse, and thier not going to make consesions without the hogosha making some. If the Hogosha think that we are thier free pass into gallia, i would rethink that notion seriously.

What is more likely going ot happen is we'll escort select trade convoys into gallia for the right price. But if the Hogosha intend to move into our space, expect La Brise family members messing with your own black market.

Nice to get more of the story to prepare for the next version.

As for how powerful Gallia is, there better be some weakness to them. 400+ battleships? Sounds like their region of space is empty when it comes to resources. Be nice if the trade routes backed that up.

Again, more plot holes than a machine gun can put in a barn, but this is a game and we do suspend thinking logically for many other things! So do so with the plot holes too!

Sounds good to me. Kudos to the people that helped write this part of the storyline.

"the union coarse is the very opening ticket to gallia"

"We will bomb them with artifacts. (y)"

"We pwn Gallia good. And take all their planets."

"rape gallic women, dont forget that 8-)"
-->From Union Corse Chat

I don't like the sounds of that.,..
[1:46:59 PM] : If anything we should be fighting them if thats their plan...
[1:47:08 PM] : Ain't no room in Gallia for two mafias...

"Thats worrying..."
"Yeah I think we might need to put the Hogosha in their place of they come to Gallia..."
What makes this a Good idea?

Don't we have enough Hogosha? Are the UC just a copy of the Hogosha with a coat of French Paint?

Most of this chat log taken from the Hogosha Common Chat is taken out of context and I don't like what you are trying to do here Veldevar. The rest of the chat log is obviously toned with sarcastic/humorous content.

Furthermore, he speaks for nobody but himself. No one in the Hogosha Council has put a negative opinion (so far) in the future development of the Hogosha Role-Play concerning the UC.

We are not planning to do anything in Gallia other than smuggling/trading cargo of interest. Keeping a relationship of mutual interest in earning money, the extent of our alliance will be based on that. "Opening ticket" is a very wrong word to describe what will happen in the future.

Finally, we have talked to one of the LaBrise leaders and it seems we have managed to address the concerns that have brought up.

That is all.

well..we need someone to model enw civilian ships pronto....cause if this kind of huge conflict is going on...the mercs and freelancers will need new more powerfull ships to compete

cause i often noticed wandering mercs being hired to assist lawfull forces in combat on the spot....i was personally hired by lcbo frozen star to hunt down a nomad he was chasing after....

so we will definitly ned better civilianships to keep this kind of pace going
