Keepers Beta Test 1 - Lohingren - 11-20-2007 well i don't think the kill everything thing is so bad for a nomad clan as long as they dont leave the places that nomad's are, this would include. kappa, major/minor, 90 MAYBE gamma and alpha gas field but no further than a 15k radius full circle i would probably make it less more around the 10k radius. all in all where you see a nomad thats where they fly, where you dont see em dont fly there. now people may think that its a terrible idea making a complete hostile faction but if that term is met it would make travelling through them systems just that bit more intresting to say the least. if you enter unknown just as you do with a fighter etc you do risk being attacked from nomad's why not let it be done with player's being the nomad's also. could be classed as pvp whoring but i would call it self blunder if you are killed by them. i like the idea i would personally love this one to work it would bring forth a whole new rp horizon throughout sirius. now do not get me wrong what i have said isnt completely full proof things need to be fine tuned etc but all in all if they stuck to these and didnt go looking for fights i think it would be fine. i hope it does work. and i dont think phantom's should probably have such a treaty phantoms would maybe try to reason with the nomad's but i cannot see any such luck from the nomad side of thing's, especially if they have dealing with other human's i would suspect them to fire on sight just like any other specie's but i could be wrong thats just a opinion of mine EDIT: just a idea and a very basic one at that would need some touching up. you could add into your RP that you are trying to reopen the hyper gate in someway so you can let forth the rest of your nomad bretheran that is lying in the deepest darkest reaches of space, now i know that the bold trent took the thing down but i doubt that would stop the already existing nomad's from trying to do such. the keepers could be a hierarchy of nomad brain's kind of royalty brain's of some sort that are able to control the nomads as a collective. probably silly sounding idea's but some none the less Lohingren Out Keepers Beta Test 1 - Merodeador - 11-20-2007 I'll have to agree that this could bring a lot of nomad-hunters to the area. even my gunboat is on FP11, but i'm not exactly there to just shoot at anything that looks like a nomad, but more to check out what's going on, and maybe to interact with the keepers in any way that doesn't mean a slaughter. Curiosity brought me to freeport 11, not revenge. i'll only fire in self defense or in defense of the station, as any zoner would do. If there's no real storyline, well, there could be the challenge of making one up, basing it on the fact that nomads were actually left behind by the Dom'Kavash, also the war should have changed things for them, and i think as an advanced sentient species, they should be able to evolve further than their programmed behavior of "kill'em all". This just makes me want to do it even more.
