Don't know if you've been noticing, but my pirate business runs all the time while I'm not on-duty as TBH. I blew up and taxed a few of them scurvy traders earlier today, but I would like to share one experience with you guys, with a particular one:P
I'm while kind taxing people, but being rude or greedy before me isn't the wisest course of action ;)
I think the pain of being recorded in the all-time gallery as one of the biggest booms in pirate history is painful enough, so no need to sanction this poor guy :rolleyes:

Unselie, our form of 'taxation' has the words 'Admin Sanction' attached to them, and always for bad behaviour.
It takes the form of turning all those shiny numbers on your ship, to a little zero.

As a fellow TAZ I must say that is oorp for most factions to pirate you.
I've never been asked once for money even when docking on Crete, Malta or Arranmore.
I even chat to the pirates as I go past.

Hmm, maybe I should go ahead and make myself an independent pirate... My BLS character isn't much for pirating, and my new Lane Hacker isn't a pirate (and is/will be in a cruiser).
And I know a lovely little place to sit and tax traders. The other day there were eight (eight) people simultaneously doing that trade run.
