I was curious and Fl is like the best game ever imo ... But what kept me so long here were people, all ... even those I didn't like...

My dad actually got me started on Freelancer.
He had the Beta, and was playing Singleplayer for a while, and I'd just sit at his side and watch him play. He called me his "co-pilot" because I'd tell him when his shields and stuff where low. Also because he never knew about the thruster button till after he beat it.:P
I got tired of being the co-pilot, and did it myself.

seen a guy play a demo in a shop. back then it was the SHIZ!
so i got it.
that's that about vanilla, then, a year back i dug it out by accident and gave the single player a go. after that, i looked for MP servers, and figured out the vanilla ones are not really common, so i looked at a few mods.
found disco, played it, loved it ever since. (in a totally sexual way)

Dad's friend, was a bit of a gamer, when it came out he gave it to me to play, I was so young when I got it, I didn't understand how to play and stuff. (7 years ago, must have been about 7 at the time:D) A year or 2 later I dug it out and started playing. Completed singleplayer.
Pulled it out another few years later and started playing multi player.

Bought it years ago, cuz i liked the cover. Some years after that i found some vids on YouTube with capships.
Searched for mods, found 4.84. Played it... wow, just awesome. Then i found out that 4.86 is on its way.
Downloaded 4.85 with the 3 upgrades and just tried by luck what happens if i hit that multiplayer button.
Found the server, read the adress for the forums and here i am.

Friend gave it to me.. at first I didn't like it much, then I did.. then I played MP and got bored.. quit and started playing again and now I am on pause from playing again.
