Reputation tweaks - bluntpencil2001 - 12-21-2007 Maybe if we had NPCs on bases that instead of bribing, you could take a 'pick a fight' option... They would lower rep with their faction, with no effect on any other. Would this work? Reputation tweaks - UnknownObject - 12-21-2007 ARRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I keep suggesting the solution to this! The problem is with the empathy file that ships with this mod. It is a 10 minute fix. Just go through and replace all negative values with about 1/10th of what they currently are. This would mean that killing had the same effect on that factions friends as now... but the enemies wouldn't start heading green anywhere near as quickly. (In fact about a 1/10th as fast.) Believe me this is enough for everyone to keep all the enemy factions red. Please will Igiss or whoever just do it! No it wouldn't Freelancers and guards are examples of factions with no negatives!!!!!!!!!!!! They are good examples of what would happen if we reduced them. Stay away from killing their friends and they stay where they are.... Help them and they go up.... Kill them and they go down.... Nice and simple... and a lot more sane than killing Corsairs suddenly makes you buddies with both BH and Outcasts. |
