idk about the backgrounds...the black and white gradients would clash pretty heavily with the rest of the FL gui, I'm afraid...

Thats actually default background for all icons in freelancer... They dont stand out as much in game as here, background is different luminosity of blue. So, check before posting. Screens please.

With the IDs it might be cool to have different graphics for different jobs. For instance, a police ID would have a badge, military ID a military insignia or crest, miner ID a pickaxe, that sort of thing.
Oh, and hammer and sickle for the Coalition ID.:P*Ducks incoming fruit*
