The Truth Unveiled - Ryummel - 03-01-2011 "...has been just a waste of time and resources for our people. They only ask and ask, but they never give anything in exchange..." Shogun Dato was chatting with a Daimyo near the Court Room when he was suddenly stepped into the scene, kneeling before Dato. "Most honorable Shogun, we received the report about the request from the Sisterhood. I picked them from Sendai and moved back to Kyoto as fast as my Tanto could move..." The Shogun nodded at him. "Very well, get that report ready to be sent. I'll let the Sisterhood Elders know about this." After this, he walked quickly into his personal chambers and enabled the transmissor device. Quote:Sending Transmission... The Truth Unveiled - Jansen - 03-02-2011 She read through the message carefully, reading it twice just to be sure that it was true. But there were no doubts, the Dragon scientists were reliable in such cases. She forwarded the transmission to the other Elders, so that they knew about it as well. Once everything was sent, she called the girl in again and gave her a disk with the transmission. "Please bring this to Saerieve, my dear." The girl nodded and ran out of the room, searching for Saerieves quarters. The Truth Unveiled - Saerieve - 03-02-2011 Lying on his bed, Saerieve was staring at the ceiling as he heard a knock on the door. Pulling himself up and sitting on the edge of the bed, he hold his head with his hands for a moment and then gets up with a sigh to open the door. "What are you doing here..?" He said right as he found the girl at the doorway. "Konnichiwa.." The girl replied, still looking at the floor, then slowly took out a disk from his pocket and hold it in front of Saerieve."What is this..?" Saerieve asked, taking the disk from her, but as she answered "A report from Sendai much as I know..." Saerieve rushed to his desk and put the disk in his computer, completely forgetting about the girl and the open door. Seeing Saerieve's reaction, the girl - although confused - slowly closed the door and moved back toward Rika's room.Saerieve couldn't believe what he was seeing. A Message from Dragon shoguns, with a full report attached to it, but now that he thought about it, it was just too obvious from the very beginning, how couldn't he see it back then? He was reading the report carefully, reading and rereading every single line, and each line was as much obvious as it was unbelievable for him. He knew the wild, he had a few ugly run-ins with them around Omegas, and although he wanted to think it's not true, but the process report of the scans were clear enough to prove Rin was one of them... And now that he knew, it even seemed too obvious from the very beginning, how couldn't he tell from the very first? Turning the monitor off, he ran a finger through his hair with a deep breath, trying to calm down, but that helped so little as the thoughts rushed into his head. Taking two steps backward, he just dropped on his bed and closed his eyes, not knowing what he should do next, as it felt like he had just lost a part of himself. The Truth Unveiled - Saerieve - 03-05-2011 It's been a whole week since he got the news about Rin, although that wasn't much of a news as it's been nearly a year ago since what he didn't want to think about happened to her. He never thought realizing the truth would've been this hard for him, he never thought it would hurt him this bad. Realizing the one you loved, the one you wanted, the one you spent months thinking about, was no more... Realizing it was all a trick, a bad joke you were stuck in... All that kept repeating in his head was how didn't he realize it from the very first moment? Now that he thought about it, it was just too obvious to ignore. All those dreams, all those feelings, all those voices... It wasn't the first time he was victim of a nomad mind-control, and yet, he didn't realize it. What kind of a fool was he? Flying right into a trap completely willingly, and getting stuck in it for months... That's nothing like what he ever wanted be. It was just like someone was playing his own game on him. It's been nine days since the last time he left for space. His Katana was sitting in the hangar of Ainu, unused ever since, only because he was too 'wounded' to go to space. Any place other than his small room felt too big for him that he felt lost, even the corridors of Ainu. The same corridors that he tried to avoid in past few days, and would only go out when most of the station were asleep. He was trying to think less about Rin, to push her out of his mind, as she was never what he thought of her to be... But every single girl he walked past reminding him of her, even when they looked nothing similar, didn't help at all. One thing he knew, was that he can't stay there anymore. He wanted to be somewhere quiet, somewhere that doesn't remind him of her, somewhere that helps him get rid of all the thoughts he didn't want, and somewhere that brought him closer to what he wanted to be, someone 'unattached'. But where could he go? He didn't have any real place to call his own before he met Rin, he would wander around Sirius, system to system, parking his ship somewhere off the plane and sleeping in the cockpit, and only visiting stations to resupply his ship. Where could he go now? He had to either give his Katana up, so he could leave Kusari, so he could return to his past life - which seemed totally pointless to him now -, or stay and suffer from every familiarity in every face that reminded him of what he wanted to forget. He wished he could just grab the ship and fly away pointlessly, but having no goal was something he wasn't used to anymore. He now had a life, a goal, a cause. He had earned respect of many with what he had done in past months, and although he didn't do any of these for himself, and only to 'win' the girl he wanted, now that he had realized the girl never really existed, he knew one thing - That although he had earned all these for someone else, but those were his own now, so he had to use them. Abandoning everything and walking off - although seemed like the best way of soothing him - was nothing other than a move he would regret some time in close future, that much he knew. The Truth Unveiled - Saerieve - 03-06-2011 Two more days had passed, and he was still lost... At least now he knew what his next step should be, at least now he knew how should he fix things - at least part of it. He had came to realize it wasn't anyone's fault if he felt like he'd been living a lie, as he was the only one guilty, as that exactly was what he had been doing in past year. He was trying to step away from who he really is, from the past that although wasn't in his favor, but was still his own. Passing of every hour, as he was lying on his bed reminded him more and more of who he really was. Reminded him of when he was still a kid, when he decided to join the Royal Police only to prove he's better than his older brothers, and when he ran from Gallia deciding not to ever come back and not to ever speak a word of who he was back there again. Maybe -that- was the first wrong move that resulted in all his failures. Maybe he had to accept who he was, not to live in the shadow of his past, but to be proud of who has he become of what he once was. Maybe he had done all the work in past few months, only for someone else, but now that he came to think of it, that was the life which he made, for himself. A life that many could not even dream of. A life much similar to his childhood dreams - the same dreams he had tried to forget in past two years. Every memory that passed through his mind, every memory that reminded him of who he once was, made him think maybe he should take off the 'mask' he had made for himself and live as who he really was. Maybe before, who he really was didn't feel appealing to him, maybe he wanted to be someone else, but now, without even knowing or noticing it, he had turned into something much better, much stronger. But one thing he knew, was that he could not stay on Ainu any longer, as every step he took in the corridors of the station reminded him more and more of a past that didn't exist, of a life that he had made for himself in his imaginations, and had turned into something so real for him that he couldn't really believe it was only thoughts, only wishes, and only hopes. Every step he took, every face he saw, reminded him of something that was not a part of him, and that was why he couldn't stay there any longer - Not until he was strong enough to ignore the feeling again. He knew that he had no real place to go, but he also knew he had earn trust of enough people to be able to earn himself a new place to call 'Home'. Somewhere quiet, somewhere with less 'familiar' faces, and somewhere that he could be who he is, without having to worry about annoying others. He knew of a Dragons installation at the edge of Kusari space, one that had remained since the old days of Nomad wars. Once, front line of a battle he had only heard of, but now, a quiet base with not many people on, and the very few Dragon patrols which stopped by just to resuply. The station that had all the Dragons attention back in the day, now was nothing more than half-deserted. Thinking about his chances, he knew that Ryuku was his best choice. Although he had visited that base once or twice just to resupply, but he knew if he wanted to move there, he would need the direct permission from one of the shoguns, and someone within the Dragons to arrange him a room on the station, so he could move out of Ainu and spend his time on Ryuku, waiting for what that might come next... |
