The sounds are too heavy if you know what I mean. Nomad sounds, like the torpedo, are light. Maybe you should make a more 'impressive/threatening' sound but use nom torp sound parts? Anyway, this will only effect you if you use my sound mod which you didn't even know existed, so *shrug* @Fletcher, you have a good point from vanilla standards, but again this is for my sound mod, and if you listen to the Human made Mortar SFX from my mod, which sounds like this and then listen to the nomad SFX i proposed, one is clearly human made, the is other isnt, so in the context of all the other sounds changed in the sound mod, it fits well.
