Also, hilarious side note: Heimdall was described in ancient norse mythology as "the whitest of the gods" - yet was cast as a black man in the movie. I wonder if that was intentional?

Orillion wasn't black, he was brown. Egyptian, and yes, Egypt is an African country thus sided with Alliance, only the east Middle Eastern countries sided with Coalition, such as Saudi-Arabia, also Red Hessians are Moroccans, another African country, they got Casablanca, Tanger, Rabat...those are all Moroccan cities, So Africa=Alliance.
