Quick question: Do I wait to create a character for HGL until the faction is approved, or do people want to see it in action first? I know there was some discussion of this on other faction threads.
I don't mind waiting at all (presuming it's approved); I just don't know the protocol. Thanks.

Why people think that they need some sort of approval on the forums to start ships on the server is beyond me. If you don't already have ships operating on the server, then the faction proposal has zero credibility as far as I'm concerned.
I appreciate the addition of the word Gateway to the name. I see no reason that your ingame tag could not be Gate-callsign. This will be much more easily identified as the Gateway Shipping faction. Keep the Highland-Gateway name for the forum if you want it.

I have made some more permanent edits to the faction proposal. Edits are listed at the bottom. They include a final edit of tag/callsign to "Gateway)-------" as well as a recruitment section.
Will be listing current players as soon as ships and callsigns have been determined.

the Viper MK1 is but the Mk2 has no relation to IMG according to its inforcard yet teh CR uses it so i think it is an iffy one to decide
the IMG faction being created is just going to stick with the Viper MK1 for now unless it is confirmed we can have it then we will have both but because of the severe lack of information about teh mk2 relating to IMG it is hard to decide

Looks good, but there are more Civilian ships. AKA, Stinger, Tiger Shark (I think), Civilian Bomber (depends on if you want bombers for escort)
