Battlefield Heroes - Sprolf - 07-13-2009 I had a rather early beta account for the game. It's good fun indeed. Fenrisulfr is my ingame name, by the way. I don't get on a lot. Battlefield Heroes - johnpeter - 07-24-2009 There's this XP boost code I got: HDVP-J96M-QKZQ-WN7B It's one use only, but if you want it you can have it... Battlefield Heroes - JakeSG - 07-24-2009 >.> If I knew where to put that code in, I would ninja it. Playing right now. Is lulz. I still sucks though, gonna try out sniper and see if I can get a decent kill : death ratio. Battlefield Heroes - Jack Ryan - 08-17-2009 *installs* Watch out for ScottyMacDuff! Royal Army Co-man-doo! Battlefield Heroes - Jamez - 10-17-2009 A very community-oriented game, with charming graphics and low system requirements to play. The game is still in Open Beta, so there is still more content to come. A new map has been added recently, for example. Players also have the option of checking out the PTE (Player Test Enviroment), where you can test upcoming patches on a test server and give feedback. There are persistent levels and ranks which give access to more Abilities, most of which are unique to each class (Gunner, Soldier, Commando). I was quite addicted for a week or so - there are some balance issues but they are being addressed next update. My Heroes thingy is JimJamJ4m1e and I manly play Royals. I definitely reccommend it be checked out if you haven't seen it already. Last thing - if any of you Closed Beta testers don't play anymore, please please please don't let those redeem codes go to waste; post them here! Battlefield Heroes - Fletcher - 10-17-2009 Its a good, but frustrating game as a newbie. The enemy most likely is fully levelled up, and your not. Its CoD4 syndrome, or prestige syndrome. Battlefield Heroes - schlurbi - 10-17-2009 Or like you meet a Legate in your Sabre. Battlefield Heroes - JakeSG - 10-17-2009 Almost always seems to be stacked against the Royals too. I think that's one of the darker sides of the internet, people seem to favour the Nazi-like wassnames, simply because they can. I do know my Sniper became much easier to rack up sprees with once I had the cloak maxed. You can actually kill somebody and then escape without being gank'd. Battlefield Heroes - Jamez - 10-18-2009 The Matchmaking thing is supposed to keep that to a minimum by matching players with similar skill level together. It does this by comparing your ELO, which is basically how good you are at killing higher-level players. The higher your ELO, the more challenging your game should be. Also, about the odds being stacked against Royals -- it's more like most of the kiddies and people with IQ under 20 go Royals, myself included. Hang in there - my win/loss ratio is 1/1, at the end of the day Nats and Royals are pretty much equally matched. |
