yeah reports really work, ... i get alot of evidence i get the time, i complain and report it with a great explaniini,ng, the resbonse i got isa damm template, cant admins understand what i simlpy say or i have to bind to every damm quate at template? this isnt a damm law they should work instead of forcing us to do so

Have you seen a trader using a cloak to escape a pirate? If yes, how many times?

Examples please!
cloak +10k from hostile to avoid combat (+10k cannot find location)
cloak +4k from hostile to avoid combat (beyond CD range)
sneak attack on enemy you can beat (use for offense instead of defense)
escape from enemy who does not have CD (some snubs, transports, and battleships)
escape anybody from +4k
Right now it is just free escape card that can be used over and over, even while you are being bumped by the enemy. That's lame. Stay out of CD range or get out of CD range, and its still very useful.

Pirates shouldn't have cloaking devices. Neither should traders. Only ones who should have them: Nomads, Wilde, Order, LSF (but rarely use it). Wha't the point in making a law against F1-ing and say "trying to engage cloaking device", sanctioning that, and then making cloaking devices available for everyone so they can basically use it to F1-out in any situation legally. At least make them disruptable.

You don't believe on reports and then sanctions? Well ... when i made my 7th report was when for the first time that someone got sanctioned by one of my reports! Only at 7th ... but i never lost my faith and even today i reported another one!
But if you don't want to report one F1 trader... shoot it down! He is there about what?! 1 minute? 30 seconds? No shield ... just hull ... pure damage! :nyam:

well i'm not a pirate, and even when i had chars that could irate i never did but ... if i was pirating and a trader used F1 ... i would probably do what you do:)

How can trader survive now?
Now answears to your ...:
1: Trade vessel is not a warship! Trader don't fly all ower the system for check piratezz location, he use tradeline for trading.
2: extrajump from tradeline in a moment you see red on scanner? isn't it a paranoid? (Yeah! Enjoy the game mate!)
3: trade vessel can't use any other cloak device but mk2adv. - it's 60 sec to activate it. try to escape or avoid pirate's CD to +3k at that time. i want to see you trying to make that distance mate!

Today i escaped from three pirate party just coz of my new shining device.
for get this pleasure i did ALOT of work and lost ALOT of cash. So i don't want to lost my cash again and again for pirate's tax.
i deserve my safety.

I am with Evan on this one. Seeing a thread, where traders whine about ~200-300 cargo space taken away, I really doubt they would sacrifice all the space for fuel etc., too.
Also, one trader out of ten escaping shouldn't really bother a pirate much.
