I'm fairly sure you DO take damage if you ram another ship, not as much as you should, granted, but it still happens.

I've lost my shield in tradelane collisions many a time and I've actually been killed in my Bison when some idiot docked on a TL at almost the same time.

I'm not sure if that has been nerfed in this latest update or not.

Back to topic, I rarely saw caps pirate lately, Caps indeed bigger and more powerful but slow, easier for lawful to intercept.
The most annoying pirate are pirate with cloaked transport, Gone in 60 Sec not just a movie tittle now

let me remind you gents that for some reason, my junker still havent met any cloak BS's....

So however dramatic people try to make this sound, iv'e yet to experience this newly acquired "freedom" as a problem.

Its more like a stark reminder that space is dangerous, so watch your tounge out there. Dont piss off the wrong people.
