there was no chancellor around until the end of the 80-years war. In the old times, rheinland was a monarchy with a "Kaiser" ruling it. A public revolution forced him to retire. Until now, I didn't find out if this revolution ended the war or took place after it.

Wow, thats something that really is interesting. Thank you for sharing the information with us.

Not even Kishiro will like that, and I suspect the KNF will not like it at all. I suggest that you exempt at least Kishiro-tagged vessels from the restriction on military vehicles.

Military Vehicles for an odd reason is sold on Gas Miner Naha. Seeing as most likely we would be busy else where while a trader is docking on Naha. I felt it would be the most fair decision to halt the movement of Military vehicles in the system unless we know for a fact it was actually purchased else where than from Naha.

Well... Naha is a mid-way from Rheinland? So it would make sense for traders to bring Military Vehicles there, and for other traders to bring them into Kusari.

As I said, Kishiro would be upset. I know of several Kishiro vessels who load at Naha and bring to Kuyshu...

Naha is a Gas Miner, military vehicles shouldn't be sold or bought from it. As I see it roleplay from here is light futuristic defences left behind from the old war.

Gas Miners Guild(GMG) - wrathkin - 05-12-2008

Sure it is a gas miner. It is also a base conveniently located on the route from Rheinland to Kusari. Since they are sold there, the logical explanation is that it is used by traders as a mid-way point - traders from Rheinland unload their cargo there, bringing H-fuel back to Kusari, and Kusari traders load them.

As I said - Kusari, including Kishiro, will not see it kindly if you try to limit the import of war supplies, and neither would Kusari care for 'fair'.

I'd say the vehicles were defence units for use against Rheinland, or that the GMG are suppllying Kusari with vehicles to fight Bretonia. Pretty simple. The GMG do have good military tech after all.

GMG doesn't have good military technology, but excellent military tactics. This is the reason they held out for so long against Rheinland during the 80 Year War.

I still believe Military Vehicles on Naha are OORP and should be removed. Naha is a gas miner, it doesn't have any other storage space than that for gas. Military vehicles are for land warfare, GMG couldn't conduct it with Rheinland even if they wanted.

Also Blunt: GMG won with tactics rather than equipment. Fact that they have Taiidans which are indeed good stats fighters means little, it's just meant to amplify their need for skill. All of their fighters are fast buggers and they need a good pilot to be of any use.

Gas Miners Guild(GMG) - wrathkin - 05-12-2008

Well, are you building in-game policy to prevent what you perceive as an oorp trade route? The way I see it, since they are sold there, clearly there is storage space for them. Either way, you are in fact making policy that is clearly hostile (in-rp) to Kusari, for OORP reasons - so how will you explain them in-rp?

And while forbidding stuff or oorp reasons - is there not another route going through -13 that is both more oorp and more used by OORP traders?

Keep in mind here there are things sold on certain stations that should not be sold there. Just as our Taiiden is sold on a Rheinland battleship instead of a GMG station. Either way one would have to agree a gas miner should not have enough storage for military vehicles, especially when you look at the stations structure. It is nothing but a control tower connected to a large line of gas pods.
