I'd do it if I had a parachute. In that case this work might be even enjoyable. You know, base jumping after fixing a radio tower ? Awesome.

well the best way to keep it safe would be some normal climbing gear...
if you have some good climbing ropes and gear, nothing bad can happen, well meybe if you fell down, you will fell around 2 metters and hit your head against the tower a couple of times, but believe me, falling from that tower is no more special than falling from a 20m building... both dies...

True you die both ways. But from the tower you got alot more time to watch the ground coming at you, plus you may bounce off sides of tower a few times.
