Freelancer 2 [New] - Regious Tuk'Cone - 09-17-2012

Here's a few things that are a plus side for the project of SWAT's Freelancer 2
  1. Almost all of the models will be replaced with something that is better fit
  2. If denied, Microsoft can not claim SWAT's Models, since SWAT is a indepent dev group
  3. Bases will have a varied feel, making the scifi world more believeable
  4. Having factions with unique ship designs, for look, style, and identification
  5. A possible change of the Trade Lane/Jumpgate system
  6. Larger and more fluid enviorments for players to explore
  7. Most importantly, a jump ahead from the original storyline of more than 20 years.
In the list, "G" has the largest portion out of all of them. This means everything has changed, from ships and technologies, to government and how they operate. New Liberty Navy ships resemble Halo-like ships and are the only ships that are displayed. I am curious to see the other Navy vessels. Kind of hate those type of teasers XD

Yes, and it doesn't make any sense.

None of those are going to be Freelancer 2. Microsoft holds its rights on Freelancer, and i don't see why they would give them away now if they didn't before.

The only development team you can really talk about, and that is directly connected to the work of Wing Commander and Freelancer, is the one of Chris Roberts.

And Galaxy on Fire 2 is just a game made for mobile phones and ported on PCs too, i don't see any similarities with the video above other than the fact there are space ships there too.

Microsoft left Freelancer V.1 to dust and hell so and it closed the Freelancer 2 Project on Xbox

so let them shut up and let the other People do What the players need

you are right that Microsoft has Freelancer Copyright but Microsoft is as what i said

This actually means that there wont be Discv 4.87 till 2015 or more.

I don't know but ,i think that if they are making freelancer 2 and they qill make disco 4.87 so i think that no much people will play Disco,they will play Freelancer 2 i think,and then disco 4.87 wil be in no use
