Heh, I think I will take lesson on this one.
After I finish that request of Cag I'm going to rework on a new Liberty carrier (yeah another one >> I imperatively want that old import to get replaced)

That would actually help, as being able to bounce Ideas between the two ship designs would help achieve a good Order/Liberty feel. Their designs are supposed to be similar.

once again very nice work. though i do agree that the launch tube could be changed a bit. it kinda looks out of place to me. everything else has more detail to it and the tube is bland. just my personal opinion though. all in all another fine ship that would be a good addition to the game.

quickly an update on the model before i go to bed - i replaced the launch tubes with 4 compact tubes in the front. - that way the ship keeps its compact shape and is still a lot smaller than any comparable carrier.

edit: the sideview is distorted - the ship isn t that long....i sized it to about the bretonian battleship, but its a lot lighter. - if i was to submit it... i d rather submit it as a very light assault carrier with battlecruiser stats. ( without the lvl10 guns - just a generous powercore and cruiserstats should suffice )
edit2: easy to see... when i post something with texture and a blue background, its allready existing as a .cmp / .mat file - this ship isn t hardpointed, but i think i ll take it for a ride in open SP tomorrow for fun.

yep thats a nice ship just make it capable to take on more than 1 fighter or bomber i dont what to spend 700mill outfitting a ship that my 20 mill bomber or fighter could kill
