RE: Is it possibru? - SummerMcLovin - 11-01-2012 Debeli and LolRawr are talking closer to the numbers I had in my mind. I'd think that Gallia could probably steamroll through Bretonia right now, crippling themselves in the process. Since that's not their plan, it's not going to happen and they'll take things more slowly. What I can see happening in 4.87: Leeds is taken in a big push, heavy losses for the Gallics due to the entrenchment and experience of the "allied forces". Bretonia still loses a fair bit and has to pull back to protect New London at all costs. Since Rheinland blows the gates to Hudson and Bering, that war slows down giving Rheinland the space it needs to concentrate on its internal problems. Liberty is then freed up to send more ships to the Bretonian front, as well as protecting the flank as Gallia strikes through the Leeds-Magellan hole. Raids into New London and Newcastle through Leeds and Dundee (possibly Dublin too) on the Gallic side while they recoup their losses and try to quell the occupied population on Planet Leeds. RE: Is it possibru? - Thunderer - 11-02-2012 Don't give planet Leeds to the Gauls! We all love smog, dirt, pollution and, of course, Tobias. He'll have to retire if that happens. Actually, it would be fun to see Tobias on New London! Or maybe... Leeds is now being turned into a military base, heavily fortified and hard to conquer. Maybe the Gauls will just leave it there when it loses any influence on the invasion, like Harris. They have to save their forces for New London. Oh, by the way, this is my 200th post! Yay! RE: Is it possibru? - Xelon - 11-02-2012 Don't think so Thunderer AD already stated that Leeds will get a smuggler ring next to the normal dockpoints that belong to the Gauls. RE: Is it possibru? - Thunderer - 11-02-2012 Pity... *takes a cup of tea, turns on Luis Armstrong's "A Kiss to Build a Dream on" and leans into his chair* RE: Is it possibru? - SummerMcLovin - 11-02-2012 (11-02-2012, 03:07 PM)Debeli_Boda Wrote: Don't give planet Leeds to the Gauls! Nah, the Leeds system is falling hard, I believe all the lanes are getting cut and most of the stations are being destroyed. Just the planet and whatever stuff the Gauls bring around. The 'freighter or smaller smuggler ring' is being put on the other side of the normal ring, so the resistance can get supplies etc. Hopefully it keeps things interesting. RE: Is it possibru? - Lonely_Ghost - 11-02-2012 Smugler's ring sounds intersting. This can add some fun to game, and more opportunyties for RP. But when Gallia gona capture Leeds, shall we see something like in Languedoc system, or Sigma 13. Massive debris fields, wrecks of Valors, in other words- trails of war. Would be also nice, to place stationared Bret BS as base, inside a cloud, in Leeds system, like this ship didn't managed to return to New London, and it still remains here, and serves as base for local resistance. RE: Is it possibru? - Trollwut - 11-04-2012 It's not a pointless destruction. (towards Mimir) I am thinking of future event but that's gonna take a while to make ready and all and I am not someone of high known or even made an event before and well I dont even have a character on the GRN or LN side! XD BUT....I do have one in Council which is more then merry for me, and I in my own reality I oppose the gallics and for some reason I've found on the Wikia about the Coalition (just Coalition) [http://discoverygc.com/wiki/Coalition] that herein' states that the French and Italian fleets have been destroyed....? the real question to this destruction of the french fleet is....HOW MUCH DAMAGE WAS DEALT that time? In my thoughts it may also mean that their scientists and researchers could have in no way have created better or entirely different vessels! Enough of that wikia matter..... Well, I dont see how the GRN would make such a foolish move like that....but, in terms of Sirius News (ingame), a possible threat may come from the Gallic King to the president of Liberty....In mind of that possibly, whether new update or new discovery version, I dont think much toleration or ignorance to it would not be taken by the President of Liberty. (On another note, DAMN WHY AT EVERYTIME WHEN I TRY TO WRITE LIBERTY, I WRITE A "V" instead of the "b"!! >,<) Quote:Oh, by the way, this is my 200th post! I really didn't understand or be able to make a proper reply or make something out of the above quote. (10-31-2012, 09:21 PM)Debeli_Boda Wrote: I am afraid Switchback remembers wrong. Lonely Ghost wants to see the results of the massive push for Leeds shown as a large scrap field, similar to that around the Languedoc->Orkney minefield, or the remnants of the Battle of the Yanagi Nebula (which is disappearing for 4.87 if I understood what AD said). RE: Is it possibru? - Thunderer - 11-05-2012 Toledo disappeared. Yanagi scrap will disappear. Tobias will disappear. Leeds stations will disappear. Smog, as the hallmark of Bretonia, will disappear. The gates between Liberty and Rheinland will disappear. Gallia will expand. What do you think will happen to players?
