I'd still bet a Nephilim would beat a Marduk in one on one combat.
I'm just saying. We can't look at Vanilla for everything. Because the Irra's speed is the only good thing about it, tbh.

marduk : significantly more base hitpoints than nephilim and better weapons - and especially more anti cap capacity than the nephilim - but have it your way.
jeremy - if you say good bye to your shields - i am 100% sure that the dev team will totally consider free an unlimited cloaks for every nomad. that would actually force the nomads into their deceptive behaviour, cause quite frankly - they wouldn t stand a chance against human ships of similar class and number.

Not my choice, but in the end, shields are more important then cloaks. Because, really, we need the shields more.

If you think the Nomad gear is overpowered in any shape or form you are sadly mistaken.
Being extremely generous, its above average. And only in some cases/ways.
Being realistic, most of the gear is worse than human stuff. There's a reason why most of my Wild run near full human gear. Not to mention it hardly works well with -anything-.
Being cynical, some of the gear has been nerfed beyond usefulness. The scorp is the only gunboat I know that can -lose- to a btrans even flown properly.

It's clearly not overpowered, in fact quite the contrary. The Irra is the only decent ship left for the nomads, more specifically it's guns. Nomad cruiser guns on human cruiser should never happen fyi.
However it should be, nomads will always be in lesser numbers than humans that are technically meant to stand together. This is why they effectively are an inexistant threat for everyone. You just see them like "yet another red" not "OH FFFFFFFF NOMADS CALL 911".
