4 points i ask you to consider.

1.have you ever been to portland?if not,you may not realize what it's like.
2.i have nothing against texans, but it annoys me when they act like a seperate country
3.my personal definition of an eco-twit is anyone who runs around freaking out about global warming, which was disproved as a viable theory years ago.
4.see below.

Save up. Trust me, it's a matter of cutting out the cravings, dirty habits and special treats and sticking to the very basic. You'l be surprised how much you can save. I've managed to spend a lot of time in France these past two years because I did that. If things are dire which i'm sure I can imagine then i'm afraid there's nothing you can do until you get more hours work or a better paying job.

Save for the flight, accommodation and living costs for two months. By then you'l have found a job out there if you really try.

1. Yes I have been. It was a tourist stop off on my way to Bandon not far from Coos Bay.
2. Texas was a separate country back in the day, so ya can't fault present day Texas Pride. It's pretty cool being American overall given our rebellious genesis as a nation, but let's be honest: Being American is simply secondary to being Texan. I feel sorry for you that you missed the boat on being born native. Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you...I'm sure your parents were good people & raised you right...it's just that you were unfairly robbed of the grace of being Texan by birth. I lay no direct blame or malice upon any of your forebears although I could justify it.
3. I know what you meant by "eco-twit" I just hope you try to understand what I meant when I said they don't really exist in spite of your idiotic company line about global warming.

::edit- & 4 HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! who cares?

RE: Plan to come to California - Marburg - 05-21-2013

yeah, screw all those heathen, hippie bastards. if they would just get with the program, they wouldn't be such anti-capitalist tree-huggin eff nuts crowin' about how good life can be with the burden of treating the world as they would expect to be treated.

I am a christian as evidenced by my compulsory participation of societal & familial enforced Christianity (made clear by my having to tolerate that jesus-crispy christ-tripe b-day crap every year)
Screw all those liberals!! Threy're just progessive-commie-socialist sluts that don't know how Amercia pays its bills.

Long hair bastards! The lot of 'em!

Get a job

I may move to the US to work at Valve or Id, after Uni (which is a long way off, I know). Whilst I'm not exactly sure which states are the 'best' states to live in, given that I'm pretty much the complete opposite of Agmen politically, I may come to different conclusions.

RE: Plan to come to California - Dead Reckoning - 05-21-2013

I've lived in both California bay area, Dallas and Austin (currently)

I loved the Bay Area, lots of fun things there, but it is fairly expensive. I don't know where that 49% tax thing someone said is coming from, that's not true in my experience. I would gladly move back there as it is a major place for tech industry (my industry)

Dallas was alright. It's not really Texas in my mind. Too many businesses moving there for favorable taxes. The Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, as it's called, is just a big melting pot of people from all over the country.

Austin is probably my favorite, albeit a little warm. You'll find some excellent barbecue here, a lot of music and a number of competing world views. You'll find conservatives and you'll find liberals. No state tax, seems like a lot of companies are moving into the Austin area. We just got a Formula 1 track as well, if you're into that.

If Texas is on the table, look into Austin.

I was simply channeling your ilk in jest, bra. & when I say jest, I would guess you know me well enough by now to know that I don't mean "haha" jest but "sad" jest. The nuance of my position that is generally lost in general forum explanation though, is how much I effin' revile hippies, whilst still being aggressively progressive & hating the shortsighted stupidity of the entire US system overall.

The only party I belong to is the "Eff all y'all red & blue retarded skidmarked idiots party" I simply can't be bothered with any of ya.
