"I...haven't had coffee before..." Lavinia said, slightly nervous. "What would you...uhm...suggest, to try?"

"Well, the taste is kind of bitter and a little dull. So if you prefer it sweet, you can always have sugar in it. Milk can also dilute the taste. Personally, I just drink my coffee black--that is, with no milk added-- and with a bit of sugar."
Kane paused for a second, then added one last thing about his drink of choice.
"Oh, and it'll give you more energy, which is useful for combating hangovers."

"Uhm...black with sugar, then..." Lavinia said after a small moment of thought.

Kane kissed Lavinia on the cheek and slowly stood up, allowing her to lean back or sit forward slowly.
"I'll be right back," he said, starting towards the bar.
He looked at Jason. "Coffee, black with two sugars. Two of 'em, please."
He waited a moment for the coffees and took them back to Lavinia, sitting back down and handing her one.

Lavinia took the coffee with both hands, lightly blowing on it as the steam floated from the surface. After a moment, she took a small sip, a small taste, and smiled.
"mmm...a...a bit hot, but...its good..."

Kane smiled and took a sip of his coffee. He put his arm around Lavinia's shoulders.
"Thought you'd like it," he said. "It'll help clear your head a bit."
He took another sip.

Lavinia sipped her coffee again, feeling the clouds in her mind fade away, as well as a small hint of electricity running through her mind, almost.

Kane watched Lavinia as she slowly drank her coffee. It reminded her of the previous night, with the beer and the drinking... and the kiss...
He smiled and took another few sips from his own coffee.

X's full form entered the bar again, it had been several days since he came back with the powercore, but that didn't seem to be what he was there for. No, in his right hand was an unmarked bottle of transparent green liquid, half empty. X made his way over to the bar, his helmet folded back into the top of his armour, a grin on his face as he handed it to Jason, "Here, try this..."
Jason took one sip and shook his head rapidly from side to side, nearly falling over, handing the bottle straight back to X, "Holy Hell! What th' 'ell is that stuff!? Could blow up the room with that!"
X smirked, turning to the rest of the bar, before glancing back to Jason, "Ah, just some liquor I picked up..."

Chris comes in from his ship, whith cargopants and a white undershirt on, coverd in oil from fixing up his ship.
"Howdy X, been a few days." Chris turns to Jason. "I'll have somthing light."
Chris sits down and looks at the room, seeming to be looking for someone.
