Bear, great first day as an Angel. Sorry you were killed by a player. That happens occasionally and like you did, I would try to talk to them about what they did wrong. But more often then not, they have had a complete lobotomy and an Angel killing report is the only thing that will sink in. Thankfully the admins work hard to protect us.

The morning shift:
I started the day in Leeds and then went to California where I encountered a person swearing at other players. I quickly put a stop to though. I then made my way into New York where I came across an Ables_aces recruiter. He asked me if I would keep an eye out for promising new members and I agreed that I would advertise his faction to the people I met. During this conversation a nice new member came up and asked me where the nearest rogue base was. I hadn't been to Buffalo for years so I got him to tag along and we went and found it together. After that was completed I overheard a person looking for the cheapest 3000 cargo transport. So I pointed him in the direction of the Train in Newcastle. Soon after that I was contacted by a person who was wanting to know if Kusari ships are allowed in Liberty. I explained that all none-military ships are (also excluding pirate vessels). He said that he only wanted to bring a transport into Liberty and I couldn't see a problem with that.
And now for the afternoon shift edit: Well to start off the afternoon I helped a person called Sparrow. He was all alone in the game and I suggested to him that he should try and join Ables_aces. He was a very decent person and didn't come across as someone who was here to cause trouble. After that I met up with Sass and we hung out at Buffalo for a while. While I was there I asked a person whether he needed a hand. He in fact did and he needed the location of Graves station in Dublin. After that I got a call from a [TAZ] member. Apparently there was a lvl 5 person PM'ing higher levels and asking for money. I attempted to sort it out but then the server crashed.

I'll piggy back on Bear's report. Before meeting our newest Angel for a bit of light refreshment at Buffalo, I traveled down to Tripoli Shipyard in Gamma and up to Valette Shipyard in Alpha to confirm the sell locations and prices of scrap metal for our Angel Guide. Fuchu Prison is also a great place to sell said scrap. All are around 3,200 a unit.
Helped a fellow understand his Freelancer ID and ship and gun options after Agmen adjusted his rep appropriately with the amigos in Gamma. And where to get the Cerbs for his gunboat. Gave away some startup money and helped a fellow get his armor.
Before signing off [The_Angels]Lindburger came out and stretched his new Angel wings.
Overall an excellent shift with my fellow Angels

Pulled a shift the other day, looked away for 30 seconds, which then stretched into 5 minutes due to the idiot at the front door, and I return to find my ship in pieces.
I wasn't pleased.
Anyhow, other than that, received 38 million credits from the Angel Murderer (Also known as A+L guy) and also showed a rhino how to mine.
Stupid exams are keeping me from my angel duties, but I shall do my best to get a few hours in.

Pulled my first shift today.
There was a certain LNS-Meracle who was flying a bomber, so I notified him that LNS were meant for LN Capital ships only and that he should probably change his name for RP, he said he knew but he couldn't change it right now because of the once per week name changing allowed only, and back then he thought LNS was a faction, so yeah. Good thing to see him understand.
After that I helped out a guy named Bralor, who I think Bear helped earlier too. The guy was asking quite a bit of questions on system chat in OORP fashion, I notified him that he should only do so in private chat where we continued our conversation. The guy was looking for which freighter to start off with and all, I told him Rhino is best for now since he only had 60K credits. He also asked about pirates and ID's, and he learnt how to scan a vessel too. In all, this guy learnt quite a lot today, and he's thinking about joining up with USI as well. He already read the rules in the forums and all which was nice to hear.
Thats all I got done today.

I owe The Angels an apology. as when i had first heard about them, it was nearly directly after i had seen several "banking firms" sprout up around sirius. not to mention for a while i had also been assisting newer players and getting them acquainted with alot of the basics through mining, chatter, and explaining the importance of understanding political structures throughout sirius. i guess i felt a little jealous, as if suddenly i wasnt doing anything important anymore.
alot of the help and work i did to help new players came to a stop as xeno's have taken to attacking me and other miners in Penn. its caused things to be a bit of a hastle for me to attempt talking things out with the Xeno, ending with my ship usually turning into dust, forcing me to leave the system..
however The Angels make up for my failures, and succeed in different areas i havnt been consistent. and i realize their importance, and i'm glad they are present.
i owe them a big apology for the words i spoke only a few days ago against them in Penn's system chat.
