RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - Syf - 01-08-2014 She turns around, looking behind her. Glaring at the person for a few seconds, until realizing. "Oh.. it's you.. You need somethin' or wha?" Having a distinct change in tone, mostly thanks to a drink she took some moments ago. "Even though it's only a lil' bit.. it feels funny." Giggling a bit at the fact that she was slightly tipsy over just one drink. After a few seconds, one thought of what Jack had said came back into mind. "He sure knows how to pull back the dispenser lever like a professional"
Immediately she bursts into laughter over the fact that it felt as if Sean just got insulted without him knowing. "Anyway.. whaddya want? If you had anythin' in mind that is." RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - Eduard - 01-08-2014 " I urge you to relinquish any irrelevant and undoubtedly useless worries, Sean, dearest of all my friends. " Robert sparked in a resonating, assuring tone. " I have everything under my control, as always. " he chortled. RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - JaaY - 01-08-2014 "Now, don't take this too personally my friend, but I don't think that you taking charge of a little girl is a very good idea", he retorted and gave him a slightly disdainful look. "If you only would forget about your ego for a second and tell me more about about this, I might help you out", he then added. "There is no reason to keep this to yourself. You know about my loyality and that I would not give out information that could harm Susan or our organization, so stop being reluctant." RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - Eduard - 01-09-2014 " Oh, Sean, but I never intended to clutch my mouth on secrets thanks to the fear that you may mitigate your loyalty and spread the secret forth. " he said surprised. " I merely obtain entertainment through such puzzles. " he excused himself right afterwards. " However, I would happen to believe that this little, undoubtedly innocent game has ended. I mean, your dreadfully serious tone and behaviour that you assault me with is most certainly an execrably undesirable, abhorrent, and cantankerous party pooper. Quite a testimony that you seem overtly petulant in finding out the favour Susan asked me to perform for her. " " But without further ado, I hereby admit that this little, overtly exquisite and finespun angelic creature found under the connotation of Susan McCarthy, for whom you ooze forth an undesirable amount of affection, has inquired me of my availability in partaking in the compassionate and helpful endeavours of performing a favour for her. A favour which, after careful deliberation I have accepted. He stopped grinning for a second so that he could scan the ceiling with his eyes and indulge over the beauty of the void outside. He then eyed Sean again, smiling. " There is no continuation to that as you have already self acknowledged the rest of the story. And that, my friend, I dare say, is the beauty of the flabbergasts that I like to entertain myself with as they allow you to puncture the subject of a story or a problem without having to hear it. Isn't it pulchritudinous to be able to work the viscera of your brain in such a fashion? " RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - JaaY - 01-09-2014 "I have to admit that your tenaciousness is quite impressive.", he commented in a barren tone on Robert's giving way. After a few seconds he smirked and added: "Now that you had your fun messin' around with me, I would like you to answer me some questions. Without riddles this time, though." Sean cleared his throat and went on. "Did Susan mention the girl's name? And why does she want her to stay here? At this time I mean. Why not earlier on?" RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - Eduard - 01-09-2014 At the sound of Sean's impulsive and inquisitive invocation for the girl's name, Robert plunged at the back of his chair and started to drift towards contemplative horizons that lack any kind of tangency to reality except the medium which was Robert's ludicrous mind. Mirth grasped him and shook him until he spewed a subtle yet audible, surprising chuckle that somehow, didn't found its place at that time yet it was existent. Robert was chuckling, and he did it merely because he couldn't answer the questions Sean exuded. He simply forgot the girl's name, or more precisely, he forgot whether or not he was even told of a name in the first place. His chuckle froze then, so did his mouth, as from the incontrollable lagging and shuddering of his lips as he tried to clutch the sounds his chuckle threw, his mouth and face returned to the typical, frozen yet devious, jesting, coated in an apparent joviality and good-nature grin that he always illustrated ever so illustriously. " But why wouldn't she seek the haven of our beloved Freeport ? " he replied with a tone engulfed in sarcasm and derision as his palm landed on his head. " After all, there's no other corner in this rancid cesspool of a universe that is as sublime and inconspicuous, and above all, intimate as Freeport 10, isn't that so? " Two of his fingers fornicated against each other as if they were the fingers of a greedy, vain merchant struggling to count and feel his coins in his hands. " Anyway, I can feel time escaping through my palms, Sean. Unfortunately I have some business to attend to. I am sure now you won't mind me if I will leave immediately, oui? " But without further ado, au revoir, Sean ! " He said as he raised himself from the table. He then extended his hand to shake it with Sean in an amicable, courteous gesture so that he could leave soon after. It was as if it was planned before hand by a superior, ethereal, otherworldly puppeteering entity: He would leave dazzlingly as soon as the shake would had been finished without any exchange of words or reply coming from him RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - JaaY - 01-11-2014 "How unfortunate! If we only could have done things to save time...but well, I guess it's too late now", he commented on Robert's sudden departure in tone which was imbued by sarcasm. Sean reacted to Robert's gesture by doing so as well, extending his arm and grabbing his counterpart's hand, although for a moment he thought about slapping Robert instead, as witty counter-effect to Robert's typical, but vexatious "games" he tended to play. To his consternation however he was able to see Gregar from the corner of his eye, who was - as always - hanging around the entrance of the dome. Unfortunately Gregar has been staring in their direction the entire time, ever since Sean approached Robert, and he was not even remotely as humorous as Robert. So instead of risking to get thrown out of the airlock, Sean continued with his already begun action. He exchanged with Robert a firm handshake and both returned to devoting themselves to their particular profession. RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - Remnant - 01-11-2014 The next three days went by rather quickly for the inhabitants of the dome, from Ellie rambling around drunk, to Sean being a professional at pulling the beer dispenser, everything seemed.. well.. as normal as things could get with the interesting group of individuals gathered in the Sylvania Dome.
Three days time later, a Zoner vessel approaches the Freeport, and sends in it's authentication codes just like any other vessel. The code registers as an Kusari Explorer, however upon looking manually, one would notice that this vessel is instead a Zoner Cruiser class ship. Further scans reveals that half the system was shut down, or in automated mode, including the weapons. After the mooring process was complete, a familiar individual steps through the mooring connections, and immediately progresses into the Sylvania Dome. Susan McCarthy stretches as she arrives in the familiar area which she used to spend quite a lot of time in. Her hair in a single braid, which hung down her back instead of her usual free-flowing style. This time was different though. A small girl appears to be behind her, looking around nervously. Beginning down a path, looking to the right at the one following her, she smiles and says something to her quietly, whereas she only gets a slight nod as a responce. The woman begins walking down a path in one of the Dome's winding paths through the greenery and creeks, knowing full well that she doesn't need to seek the people she is looking for out. They'll find her in no time. Finding a small gazebo, she takes a seat, the younger figure immediately doing the same, talking quietly with each other as they wait for who knows what is to come. RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - JaaY - 01-11-2014 As Sean vigorously hit the signal button, Gregar rose from his chair in a not really majestic but still somewhat gracious way, rushing towards the bar where Sean was already waiting for him. When the gigantic and dreadful figure arrived at his destination he stared expectantly at Sean through the empty holes of his atrocious mask. "It seems like this gentleman right here...", he drew a man in his mid-twenties closer to him and tapped him on the shoulder, "...had a bit too much and is now trying to reduce his amount of intoxication by bothering other guests. Would you kindly escort him to the exit of the dome?" Totally emotionless, Gregar energetically grabbed the rather slimly built man by his neck and dragged him quicky towards the exit. Just before Sean intented to get back to doing everyday's business, he noticed the appearance of someone he certainly did not expect to see again. However, the person was not alone by herself. She had a girl with her, who was presumably in her teenage years. When both of them sat down under a gazebo on the other end of the plateau, Sean decided to not hesitate again. He grabbed a chocolate bar from the snack bar and quickly crossed the distance between them. Upon his arrival, he first said in a serious tone, "Didn't you say I would never have to see you again?", then he smirked. RE: Freeport 10's "Sylvania Dome" - Remnant - 01-11-2014 The two immediately cease their conversation, Susan turns her gaze up only to spot Sean walking over to them. The younger girl looks up at the new man, merely giving him a curious look, although she remains silent for the time being. Susan sighs, rubbing her head slightly. "I guess I did say something like that last time we talked 'Sean'.. I'm a liar I suppose. Although you were not the one I expected to meet the time I got here.. I assume that you have found out what is happening some way or another at this point in time." At a closer look, the smaller girl seems to resemble Susan to a certain degree, despite being quite a bit younger. "Well? Have you come to ridicule myself for going back on things I've said? Get irritated about how I left last? I'm not too proud of it, but there wasn't much I could do at the time.." Trailing off quietly. |
