Several Phantoms entered Cambridge today, apparently waiting for an engagement. However, the ship odds against them was overwhelming, so they moved to Leeds. Commodore Badger (no he's not back yet, just checking in on stuff:P) and I decided that we should not bring our "task force" in; however, intelligence reports that they were dropping Mox on Planet Leeds, thus we were forced to engage to protect the planet. Mortars were also dropped in New London, although they were disabled before they could explode by BAF specialists. SFMF-Horizon is moving in to Leeds to help with clean-up and humanitarian relief now.

Engagement:

SF engaged our enemy over Leeds, although it was a disaster. With the loss of several ships (ppodl and Badger, and think someone else, but not sure), we engaged, and had major problems. We almost took down an Osiris class ship when all four battleships converged on Battleship Sierra, miserably wrecking it. Battleship Sierra's wreckage was towed to Southampton Shipyard. The engineers there are getting sick of repairing my Battleship, and are threatening to not do so anymore. However, when they heard the reports that all SF vessels (Repulse and Sierra), all sso vessels but one, and others were destroyed, they gave in. I believe that a Bs| and an sso vessel was the only one left standing, and then AW entered the scene, forcing the Phantoms to leave due to technical issues (Dab and Kane, I believe).

AW was granted permission to repair at Cambridge. Regardless of hostilities, I granted this because they had previously engaged the Phantoms, destroying one ship before SF got there. The AW seemed to be acting fine in Cambridge, and I figured that having an extra ally to help us destroy the Phantoms would help...it didn't. HF was not involved in any way, thus they were not a threat at the time.

Efforts to rebuild the force have begun immediately...

Captain Hyperwave out...

Good job on reading the situation and good call. This recent act doesn't change matters but does improve their reputation slightly in Cambridge.

While patroling cambridge space, encountered bsg ship adm. warhammer.
the warhammer was carying nomads but was able to dock before he could be stopped.
The captain and vessel appear not to have been contaminated. The captain was informed of regulations on the matter. He was still carrying britonian pilots, which he jettisoned upon request. When questioned, the captain of the warhammer claimed that the pilots were rescued from an order ship and he was simply returning them for the reward. This will be checked with the pilots in question upon release from the cambridge mercy hospitol.

On a side note, the ship starwalker was seen passing through cambridge space carrying alien artifacts, but escaped before he could be questioned.

I have added a standing orders section to the faction status page (part of the faction agreements). Here I will place orders such as SF remaining out of Omicron Theta, as well as unique status warranted for certain players or requested.

And in accordance with that a standing KOS sight order is given for Evil_Chucky (Churckster by his request).
