Greetings Caitlyn and everybody else from HQ!

During our last crossing of the Zurich System into Gallia our Junker-built Rheinlandic engines decided to quit their service in the middle of nowhere. We are now more or less adrift in the system while my engineering staff on board is going down on the engines and trying to somehow fix them at leats to some degree of working condition to reach any possible mooring-base; the Oerlikon Observatory would be the nearest starbase. I hope we manage this before the MOX-reactor obliterates itself, and the ship, into scrap that even the junkers won't be able to use. I am not sure how soon Stevan Jester, my Chief engineering officer, is able to pull off this miracle; or that he even would manage this feat. I know he is rather positiv, since he tells me that he has keenly observed Ian, Rob and their fellow Junkers working at the engines. He sais he picked up several of their tricks. But I, well, I am not so sure if Stevan tries to swallow to much of a rock here or if he is truly the miracle-worker he claims to be. I figure we will find out.
Until then, at least we do not have any guests on board, only our sceleton crew to keep the Reverie running, since we were on a transfer trip. The ship is well stocked as usaual and we are used to being in open space for long times. So there is no problem...yet.
I'll keep you up to date how my team is faring and when we reach a starbase. Nevertheless, the ship will need a proper checkup in a shipyard as soon as possible. Anything my staff or any mobile engeneering team is able to do is probably preventing a desaster by patching her up temporarly.

Best regards,
Cpt. Theobald Franklin

My fellows and fella's. As we start this New Year I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your continued assistance and skills in these intervening years. Now, more than ever I feel that Orbital has set itself up for success. From Kusari with the Hawaii and the Maldives. Bretionia and the Shetland. Baden Baden and Rhineland. And of course who could forget the black sheep of the family, the Barbados. As we look forward into the first quarter of the year let us not forget where we came from and where we hope to go.

Over an' Out,
Larry

Servus to all employees.

Today was the Beefmaster on a Supply Tour I wanted to bring some Fine Gallic Wine to the Kusarian Market as we were Intercepted by a Gaian Terrorist at the Languedoc Gate in Tau 23. The Terrorist Made me Drop all of my Cargo of wonderful gallic Wine and Destroyed it then. But not even that was enough for this Crazy Radical. No, he also Demanded my Personal Cooking Supplies and left me with nothing to cook with. But even after I did all that he demanded he attacked my Ship and Destroyed several of my Cargopods. In the end, I was able to Escape, a Fact that is also to be thanked to my wonderful escort Pilot Jerry Coulson. I am thankful for his service that allowed me to Escape in the end and Save the Ship Itself.

In the end, I managed to escape from the Tau 23 System and was able to flee to the Scarborough Shipyard in Newcastle for some Urgent Repairs and to Buy new Cargopods to Replace the Destroyed ones. I write this war everyone about the Terrorists that seem to have awakened from a long Slumber and are on the Hunt for innocent Cargoships and Liners Again. Why they Still Hunt us when we do not have any Business at their Beloved Gaia anymore is beyond my Understanding. I have Packed the Flight Log in the Attachment. Please be careful out there.

Servus,

Subject: She flies again... for now.

A worn out and not so well groomed Theobald Franklin is visible on the screen. The stress from the last weeks have taken their toll from the once sunny man.

Greetings folks!

The rumors of our disappearance are exaggerated *he chuckles*. No, I am not quite sure how it has been managed, but my engineering staff is to be commended.
After, gosh, I don't know any more, weeks? being stranded in Zurich, we were finally able to get the ship running again. If we hadn't been so well stocked for our cruises in Gallia... well, I don't want to think about that.

However, it was luck, actually. We had a chance ecnounter with a pair of travelling explorers. They did not really talk much or give any details about themselves, but I am sure they had at least some Junker-connections. They worked with my engineering team and marvelously repaired the ship's engines with some original Renzu parts. Got them going again. I am quite sure, some would say they now look like the original ones, but I am not so positive. I know better, because they don't feel right. They're different.

Well, I'm not complaining. The ship finally made his way back to Oerlikon and we will travell back to Stuttgart or Curacao soon. Maybe we can let the ship be looked over at Baltimore and make sure, that she's reliable again, before taking on Passangers.
For now, we take some rest, restock, breath some different airs, and look at some other bulkheads than ours.

It won't be long, before we are back home, hopefully.
See you soon.

Best regards,
Cpt. Theobald Franklin

Now at least a smile can be seen in the man's face, before the screen turns off, terminating the signal.

Subject: Ship ownership transfer

To our director and subdirector,
I find myself dealing with one of the most peculiar requests since I became an employee of this Company.
I wonder if there is a possibility to transfer the ownership of one of our ship, currently registered under the SEC registry, to a personal ownership one, or at most, to that of the Triton Expedition.

The ship I am referring to is a "Conference" gunship model of Zoner importation. Perhaps you've never seen one; even my crew and I stumbled upon it by chance during an insertion into a parking orbit around Curacao. I assure you that if you had seen it, you would also be wondering why a ship of this kind is gathering dust in the void.
It is, quite possibly, one of the most elegant vessels I have ever seen, almost on par with an Enterprise.
My request, therefore, is to change the assignment of the ship, take it under my command and that of my crew, and explore the possibility of transforming it into an armored passenger transport under the TE registry.

After a quick research, I find out that it is currently included in the Gamma group of gunboats scattered throughout the sector. Given that we currently have sufficient SEC pilots to operate only the Alpha group at full capacity, it is mothballed in orbit around Curacao with less than 2 weeks fo operational use in 2 years so far.
Of course, I realize that this request, primarily driven by personal and hedonistic reasons, may set precedents and create tensions with colleagues and within the SEC department. For this reason, I am willing, if the conversion is possible, to transfer ownership and reintegrate a Condor-class frigate into the SEC naval registries. It is one of the ships under my command, with firepower capabilities practically identical to that of a Conference.

Pending your feedback, I will continue with the regular cruises assigned to me.

Unsere herzlichsten Grüße,
Cpt. Herman Schmidt und crew.

Hello Herr Schmidt

It is indeed true that we currently have a bit of a Crew shortage in the Naval Department of Spa Sec. Thankfully we still have enough pilots for the Regular Escort and Security Assignments of Alpha and some Support operations of Bravo Groupe. I have already ordered the HR and Advertisement Department to Develop an Add campaign to Hire More Skilled Capitans, Crews, and Pilots for Spa Sec.

I have also Dug into our Files and found out that the ship is indeed Mothballed and hasn't been used much in the last two years. I have Spoken with the Subdirector of Spa Sec and he is Pleased with your Offer. You can Swap the Commands of the ships on your next visit to Curacao. I have also ordered a full Inventory of all Mothballed to see if they have potential outside of their currently Assigned Subdivisions.

For now, I am highly curious what you will make out of the "Conference" and what kind of Cruises and Vacations you will be able to offer with such a Unique and Special vessel. Please keep me informed on your Adventures and the State of your Remodel of the Gunboat. I imagine that the Conversion of a Military Vessel into a more Pleasure-oriented one can be quite Complicated. Please inform me if you need any help from the Company to make your new "Conference" Into a truly special Ship that brings Orbital Spa and Cruise Luxury into every corner of the Galaxy.

Mrs Cross,
always a pleasure to get words directly from you. I must admit that I did not expect such a prompt response, nor did I anticipate such an immediate resolution of this matter. I feel like a child eagerly awaiting the chance to play with a new toy on Christmas, although I fear that, once the initial adrenaline rush subsides, many more complications than expected will surface.

To fulfill my part of this informal contract, I have sent you the startup codes and all the biometric data necessary for the activation of the ship in question (TE|Guadeloupe). There are no scheduled cruises or guided tours for the next few weeks, so it is currently anchored at the Englund Spaceport, Pier 3. For the same information regarding the gunship, I await your communication. There's no rush; my return to Curacao is not expected before this weekend, assuming that Nauru authorities don't place us under quarantine again for further security checks.

I sincerely thank you for your offer of help. In the coming days, I will try to find a feasible solution within my circle of acquaintances, although I believe that this type of work cannot be entrusted directly to our interior decorators and designers.
As for what I intend to do, I've fantasized a bit, though without indulging too much in my thoughts to avoid unpleasant reality checks in case my ideas cannot be realized. In case everything works out, you would naturally be the first to be informed, Director.

Looking forward to the codes. In the meantime, I wish you a good week.

Unsere herzlichsten Grüße,
Cpt. Herman Schmidt und crew.

Madame Cross, monsieurs subdirectors, esteemed colleagues,

After my period of absence from active service, I return to these channels to present you with some points of reflection on our fairly near future. With the armistice between Gaul and Liberty, the entire sector is indeed in a period of 'true,' albeit fragile, peace. As all of you have noticed, this has had a positive impact on our business, as evidenced by the quarterly data in terms of both passengers and net profit. However, this increase, especially in gaul territory, clashes with the inadequacy of our accommodation facilities, particularly our beloved Riviera Resort. Before my words are misconstrued, let me explain.

When the resort was inaugurated, now three years ago, it was a 'beachhead,' a small OS&C gem acting as an outpost within the gallic market. It had modest dimensions, suitable for our presence on-site and not too flashy to attract the ire of competitors and the protectionist government, which was highly suspicious of the Sirians.
What was once adequate, however, is now insufficient in our current situation. The hotel rooms are always fully booked, and often liners and yachts have to wait for hours in orbit or docked at Sarcelles before they can disembark passengers, who then have to be transported via shuttle onboard due to lack of adequate docking points. There have already been a couple of incidents of overbooking with all the inconveniences and damage to our reputation that you can imagine.

Now, in practical terms. The situation is still manageable for now, but it will only worsen. We can pretend it's not an issue or we can improve our situation before it actually becomes a problem. We're practically unchallenged there in Gallia; it would be foolish to allow our competitors to gain ground against us simply due to short-sightedness.

As you can see, communication is open to everyone, and I hope it's an opportunity for exchanging ideas among us on this topic. While awaiting your feedback, I wish all of you good work.

Godspeed, à tout le monde

Hector Balzac

Subject: A project

Good evening Mme Cross.

I am contacting you to make you aware of a project I am pursuing with the Lucullus which is listed in our naval registry.

I realize that I am reopening a dossier that was thought to have been forgotten in some archive on Curacao, a dossier that was saddened by the untimely death of my compatriot and colleague Dumas and by large financial losses related to unsuccessful attempts to modify the ship.
However, unlike previous attempts, I can forewarn you as of now that thanks to my team of engineers, we have been able to achieve extremely encouraging results for her proper functioning.

I would therefore like to meet with you in person, at your complete discretion as to place and time, so that I can discuss with you any further steps to be taken, should you consider the project I have in mind to be viable.

In the meantime, I wish you a pleasant weekend

Good Day Monsieur Balzac

First, let me apologize that I haven't Congratulated you on your Return to the Fleet. I am always happy to see some of the Old Crew Return to the Flock of Luxury. I also have to admit that I have forgotten the Old Lucculus that was Mothballed at the OS&C Boneyard.

You are right that we Put the program on Ice after Dumas Death and the fact that we have had Massive Cost and Material Overruns on the Liner. While Lucullus sure is Exotic and Beautifull, she is also so Fundamentally different in Technology from the Liners that we Use in Sirius. Plus the fact that we couldn't even Bring the Gallics with Money and Luxury to help us in this endeavor.

But I have to say that I am Curious about what kind of Solution to these Problems you and the Engeniers may have found to this Problem. I will be on Curacao at my Resort for the next 2 Weeks so you can come and visit me whenever you want. I am Curious if your Arguments are good enough to Shove more Money down that Endless Well.
