How to make a new account:
Make a new windows account
Launch FL.
Launch FLAM
Click yes.
Delete new windows account.
Go on your account.
Done.

Eep. I just installed Win 7 on my main machine and now I can't use FAM for the same reason as Linkus in Vista. I've tried all the same tricks as well, plus a few extras that also resulted in no progress.
So, unless someone is willing to let me in on the 2.0 beta, I won't be able to use my characters unless I use my XP machine (which has a failing video card:()
So, anyone willing to share?

+1 here? If anyone would be willing to let me in on the beta I'd be very thankful. Oh and is FAM open source? I'd be intrested to have a look over the code.

I found a glitch that I'm not sure many others would be in a position to notice.
I had to reinstall Windows while trying to change the way my system sees the SATA ports, so I fired up the beta after I got everything reinstalled. The program kept complaining about an exception not being handled properly, but still gave the option to continue. On a hunch, I installed FAM 1.0, and now 2.0 works again. So something that is installed with 1.0 is not in the package that I got from Alex, but is still required for FAM 2.0.
