Gunboat balance proposal: please decrease the range on all gunboat turrets. That will keep their usefulness against smaller craft (fighters and bombers) and they won't be able to act up like long range gun platform. At this moment, I found it's pointless for me to use anything else than gunboats.

NPC gunboats are far too dangerous. To EVERYTHING. Nerf them please so that they can do as much damage as a starflier or something.

Why did the Junker tech chart get stomped so hard? The chart is borderline as bad as the AI tech chart in terms of tech usefulness. They could use a lot of stuff that would be handy back in. 86, now they hardly have access to a lot of handy things. FLs and Pirates even have a better tech chart than Junkers, which I find ridiculous.

Double the damage? No thanks. Solaris Gunboats as-is are incredibly good snub killers. One that knows to reverse every once in a while (or other SNAC-off-throwing maneuvers) takes a fair number of bombers to deal with. Even moreso if you're looking at a number of gunboats covering eachother.

Solaris' primarily need a nerf. A (substantial) reduction in efficiency seems reasonable enough. They're the current go-to anti-gunboat weapons, even if that's not their intended use.

I do not agree with you.
Solaris are good aganst snobs and bombers but they deplite
energy to fast to be good against bigger ship.
Basic turrets will allways, allways win against solaris if two GB fights against each other.
I know none care, but house turrets from 48.60 were far better in every aspect except in range.

Also if we double the demage from solarises it would make them exactly this what they are supose to do...be good anti fighter and anti bomber ship.
Acctualy if devs do that..they should remove all other GB weapons and make
GB only anti snobs and anti bombers ship.

The range needs to be seriously taken down for all gunboat turrets, honestly. Relying on Solaris gunboat turrets for virtually everything (because of the speed and range) is kind of... not okay, since you can't get nowhere near a GB in a bomber without being under heavy fire (range and speed for the win), nor you can't actually harm them in a cruiser because of the same range issue, and they can happily pummel your ship while you can't touch theirs (weren't cruisers and gunboats to be reliable counters to gunboats?), currently leaving the only reliable counter to a GB to be another GB.

Remove NPC missiles and mines, please.
They disrupt lanes from ridiculously long range, don't do meaningful damage to players and contribute to server load.

Also, since lanes don't have weapons anymore, please give them Neutral IFF. Friendly NPCs disrupting the lane I'm pirating are quite annoying.
