In an ideal situation, you would have Core and Order "farming" Nomads in Zeta, Iota ja 99. Of those two factions, only the Core would sell Nomad BS remains in the open market, and then only to those it deemed a safe party. At astronomical prices. Making Nomad remains a component for cloaking devices was, with all respect, a mistake. It does not encourage anything approximating role play conventions. As a result, I've seen Zoners Nephs and even Rheinland Turtles (2 days ago grouped up with an Order Geb and Osiris) farming for Nommies. That said, a lot of dedicated, roleplaying Zoners are getting royally burned with this retconn. It's a shame, but it was probably inevitable. Fortunately, from a PvP perspective, bomber and cruiser swarms are more than a match for BSes. Long live the righteous gank. I can show many myself,but what is the use?If people dont have fun here,they will surely not be here.If the people want to use hell a lot of caps in NY,so be it.If you place restricitions on caps,particularly in Liberty,then you will see what the server population is,in a few days.If at all you spot a rare Nephilim in house space,apart from the factions,and if they do anything OORP,you have the right to report them.So is the case with every other cap.I dont know why you are offended so much,at things that people do,that is perfectly within the server rules but just out of lore.This is no damn book,where people have to read the damn lore of every damn faction and do damn things lorewise.If that was the case,you couldnt have seen this game cross 4.85,which many reckon,is one of the finest versions. If you still speak lore related,old school things,I might have a link for you,take a good read at that.This is just a game,where people from all over the globe trot in to spend their time and have fun.Fun with some bounds in terms of server rules and other such stuff.Dont make it even more restricted by speaking everything lore wise,since,many people have answered things that you lore fathers have put forth.But what do you people do?I have personally explained every single thing you asked earlier,with the definition,that even a child would understand.And what did you do?You branded my reasoning as fairytale imagination.If that is the attitude with which you are going to respond to reasonable answers,then dont expect an ACTUAL answer for your queries.This is a general view of what an MMORPG should look like.Fun,being its essential gradient. Quite the contrary, I personally find Zoners to be one of the Factions with a biggest potential for diversity on their RP. Sadly many "hard core Zoners" have managed to cross the line despite this wide range of RP possibilities. Oh and I do have a Neph, so I will also be losing something, but if it will be for the best of the server, I'm OK with that, if not, well you'll get to say "I told you so" to the devs. RE: Information about upcoming Zoner changes - Coin - 02-25-2014 i still cannot see why replacing the caps with transports is beneficial to the activity on the mod. Why upset such a large playerbase for no conceivable benefit? put a technerf on the indy id's if the indies are at fault. why punish the players who have been here for a goodly chunk of time? Jinx? can you explain the reasoning behind replacing the caps in a TL-DR format? i havent seen any of the previous anouncements/call for interaction+interpretation, and i've been floating around the omicrons shooting RPing with zoners for years. why this change? are you replacing models as a gallery for your talents? if so, cool. but why transports? the omicrons suffer from activity-loss enough, why strip them even further? Lore, population numbers, and the general individualism and fragmentation of zoners and their splinter groups logically prevents serious work to be done on the design and construction of large capital warships.
