If people are really there for mining, they won't complain if it's as profitable as trading.

I'm off to bed.

I agree by 100%

Create more mining fields and lower the prices by 25% or 35%

Yeah, with all things, like " Im tired from that trading man!!!!" it took long time, but when you have a appointed goal, and you are trying to reach it. Mining gaves fast money up, and some players, when they reached cruiser not evaluate it. They may do some risks by bracking rules, and they know, that got 220 mils with mining- one or two days job... When you spend lots of time and forces (more than you would be mining) you wont be risking with your char bracking rules.

Aye, thats what i was thinking about

I got an experiment to try.

Re-install the mining mod, even increase the prices, make it like they used to be when it came out.

Now, make all the ships and equipment cost $1 credit.

See how many people stay mining because it's part of their faction RP.

That would be a good experiment.

There won't be many, but there will be some. If you want me to, I can show you a wall of roleplay written by the mining's greatest fan..

I also enjoy mining myself, and don't really do it for the credits.

Again, not many, but maybe it's better this way...

I'm pretty sure i'd still mine sometimes. What i'd like to see more, however, are omegas which are alive. For that, we need mining Daumanns and Krugers.

Why turn off the mining for everybody just because of some ?
The Rotakians don't care about mining, but shooting rocks to get stuff was one of our very few ways to earn something without pirating...

Rotakians, permission to pirate everyone:GRANTED

Sirians, blame the government for it.
Because of House governments, the rocks expired !

Mhmm, yes, the mining system needs a few tweaks, but turning it off completely is a huge mistake, imo.
