Convoy Participants:
  • ExSec Brian Rowser, Hussar.
  • BES Gladstone, Shire.
  • BES Wilberforce, Percheron.
  • BES Rutherford, Shire.
  • BES Whittle, Shire - convoy leader.
  • ExSec Ando Rodriguez, Havoc Mk II.
Convoy Information:

To introduce our new ExSec trainee Brian Rowser, we took him out for a short convoy to the Leeds system. After our first stop at planet New London, we brought roughly 14'500 units of basic alloy to Stokes. The ordered hull panels for King's Cross' new construction site were ready to be picked up - We delivered 7'250 hull panels on the way back to King's Cross.

Convoy Incidents:

What a ride it was! The 'short convoy' turned out to be much more than that, and we ended up going through an exceptional amount of incidents. First, we assisted a BIS agent in taking out a corsair gunboat named "AI-SDF-Macross" between Canterbury and New London. Shortly after we had returned to New London to pick up our goods, and gathered our convoy fleet in the orbit, "Firebrick..Reaver" turned up suddenly - Under heavy fire from all present defense turrets. His decision to try his luck nonetheless shows what a bunch of lunatics those Reavers are. He dodged our fire well, but his maneuvers couldn't avoid his inevitable death.

We decided to get a few minor repairs done on Thames, and refilled all repair materials. When we were back in space, we encountered yet another triggerhappy lunatic - The first lane of our route was disrupted by what seemed like an insane captain of a renegade Liberty Assault Battlecruiser. We didn't spend too much time on asking ourselves what this was all about, but rather saved our ships back into the docks of Thames. I took a break to have a coffee at the bar, which was excellent by the way. We heard later that the unusual Libertonian had been taken care of by the BIS and BAF. Finally, we managed to gather our ships without an interruption, and departed towards Leeds.

On our return trip, we ran into yet another bunch of very unpleasant company. Numerous CGS pirates held up our convoy between Leeds and Durham. As we were clearly outgunned in that situation, we decided to pay the demanded amount and finished our trade run without another fight.

Other Notes:

Mr. Rowser did a good job as a scout during his first Bowex convoy. He has potential to improve the convoy's time efficiency by keeping a bigger distance to the first transport, but he brought us to our destination safely nonetheless. The incident between Leeds and Durham was the result of a rather unfortunate and chaotic chain of events, and can't be blamed on any wrongdoing from our trainee's side, nor other pilots of the convoy.

  • BES Rutherford, Shire, Supervisor Stew Wolfe

  • BES Gladstone, Shire, Supervisor Jan Peters

  • BES Wilberforce, Percheron, Trainee Hans Liljefors
  • BES Confused.Llama, Short deployment Eagle, Ronald Farbridge
Convoy Information:

"Berylium Ore was picked up from Kings Cross and taken to Dortmund Station in New Berlin. For the return trip we took mining machinery to Douglas Station, where we picked up Polymers for Waterloo Station before running Basic Alloys to Stokes and Ship Hull Panels back to King's Cross"

Convoy Incidents:

"No incidents on the way to Rhineland, however after departing Dortmund we discovered the communications computer aboard the Rutherford was suffering malfunctions resulting in distortion of all messages. Following this and a reshuffle of our running order no further incidents were reported until we were heading back from Leeds to New London, where we encountered Firebrick.Reaver, backtracking we docked here on Durham Station where we are taking a break."

Other Notes:
"The yellow soup of Omega 7 was particularly thick today, maybe something the meteorological society should look into."

~ Date: 27. July 819 AS ~
Convoy Participants:
  • BES Wilberforce, Percheron, Trainee Hans Liljefors

  • BES Rutherford, Shire, Supervisor Stew Wolfe
Convoy Information:

"After a break on Durham, we decided to roll out and return the SHPs only us two. The reaver was no longer in scanning range, and everything looked clear. After that, a quick run from King's Cross to Pittsburgh with full loads of beryllium ore (2420+4090), save for five units of tea on the Wilberforce. We then returned the same amount of boron to Scarborough station, where the Wilberforce carried toxic waste to LD-14, and the Rutherford IMs from Lancaster to Stokes. From Stokes, we returned SHPs to KC (1210+2044)."

Convoy Incidents:

"Liberty rogue fighter Baine.Bloodhoof chased us to Pittsburgh and demanded one million per ship. Wolfe decided it was best to pay up, even though he probably wouldn't stand a chance with the fire power of the Shire and cruise disruption of the Perch."

Other Notes:
"The Liberty Navy got informed twice (different captains) about Baine.Bloodhoof but didn't move the one lane needed to prevent his piracy against us."

~ Incoming Transmission from Freeport 1 ~

~ Date: 5th of August, 819 AS ~
Convoy Participants:
  • BES Wilbeforce.II, Shire, Employee Hans Liljefors

  • ExSec Director Kiriko Hidamari, Hussar
  • BES Hobbes, Shire,
  • BES Turing, Percheron, Trainee Dision Abys
Convoy Information:

"Being a little late to the party, I caught up with the rest of the convoy at Sheffield station in Manchester, loaded with cobalt. The Turing and Hobbes were full of beryllium, ready to roll out. We sold the beryllium on Pittsburgh, New York and the cobalt on planet Denver, Colorado. We picked up boron and superconductors for the trip back. Abys and Cumberbatch decided to take a break once we reached New London, and sold off their cargo on Thames. Hidamari led the Wilberforce II to Aland without problems, but on the way back a corsair ship made us decide against continuing further, and the Wilberforce II docked on Freeport 1 waiting for space to clear up."

Convoy Incidents:

"Minor scares with pirates, but no actual confrontations were had due to Hidamari's good leadership, and our collective good judgement. Biggest enemy today were the Libertonian lanes not accepting the might of Bretonian ships."

Other Notes:
"The trainee Dision did really well for a new guy, even fairly good at reporting rear. With a bit of polishing, he can really contribute to the company."

Convoy Participants:
  • ExSec Kiriko Hidamari, Hussar - Convoy Lead
  • BES Whitecliff, Shire
  • BES Foxe, Percheron
  • BES Baird, Percheron
  • BES Turing, Percheron
Convoy Information:
It was decided that now our three newest employees had been outfitted with their properly armoured Percheron transports, that me and Kiriko would take them all together on a convoy to Liberty. We all loaded up with cobalt ore from King's Cross Station and headed to Planet Denver. After seilling there, we all acquired full loads of superconductors for delivery to Cambridge Research Station back in Bretonia.

Convoy Incidents:
On the way into Liberty we had a run in with a pirate. We encountered him at the New York gate in California. On our way to West Point Military Academy the Liberty Rogue appeared on scanners. Upon seeing it we made the jump as quickly as possible, but the pirate gave chase. Luckily we reached West Point unharmed and Kiriko was able to dispatch the threat while we waited by the academy.

Other Notes:
Nothing to add other than praise for our new employees for showing true Bowex standard proffesionalism throughout the entire convoy.

Convoy Participants:
  • ExSec Hans Liljefors, Eagle
  • BES Whitecliff, Shire
  • BES Baird, Percheron
  • BES Foxe, Shetland
  • BES Whittle, Shire
Convoy Information:
All of us but Mr. Barnes set off from Canterbury Station carrying all of the left over cobalt ore, and what cargo space we had left was filled with beryllium. We took the cobalt to Denver where we joained up with Mr. Barnes of the BES Whittle. We then headed to the Texas System to offload the beryllium at Houston, where we picked up nanocapacitators for delivery to Scarborough. We then took oxygen from there to Lancaster for a small profit, and loaded up Industrial Materials to deliver to King's Cross for the new docking module.

Convoy Incidents:
On returning to King's Cross Station with the industrail materials, we had a run in with a pair of pirates piloting a Corsair Gunship and a pirate transport. In the name of Bretonia, me and Hans gave chase along with officers from the BIS. The Gunboat was destroyed, and the transport forced back to Trafalger where he docked his badly damaged ship.

Other Notes:
I should be knighted for this.

Good day to all of Bowex's hard working and loyal employees! In order to reward the dedication of our highly motivated teams of professionals, DO Cromwell has authorised the reactivation of Bowex's lottery services. This service will be running on a monthly basis, with internal draws being hosted on the last day of each month.
Employees will be able to purchase lotto tickets at the cost of 5 million credits per ticket - multiple tickets may be purchased per individual. All raised money will be entered into a jackpot, which will be awarded to the sole holder of the winning ticket. Ticket purchases will be arranged through a ticket office that is to be opened shortly.
Each sold ticket will be assigned a number in order of purchase - the first ticket of the month to be sold will be #001, followed by #002 and so on. At the end of the month, a random number between the range of the highest and lowest ticket value will be selected.
Upon the initiation of the first lotto draw, funds should be dispatched to the Bowex)Lottex. The jackpot will be held at this account until such a time as they are dispatched to a winner.
