Konnichiwa Hinohara-san,

Your decision is regrettable, but understandable. Your new rank within the Gen'an Organisation is Senjōzaki. Know that should you be willing to resume your efforts in the GC as your previous rank, you only need to request the transfer.

Misaki has been a boon to the Sisterhood. Make sure you keep to your word and do spend some time with her.

Greetings sisters! I bring news for most to be aware. I thought I had better days, but this one is most fortunate. I caught a pilot by the name of Red Eye Bill, he is no stranger to us and likely communicating with Misaki quite often. Anyways, during my patrol in Shikoku, I encountered him at Kyushu Jump Hole, saying casually that he is doing some trading in Liberty, so I didn't wanted to lose my chance and took a peek and guess what I have found in my search in the cargo hold, some good old fashioned Xeno Relics. Something that is a very lucky find to see, so I had to immediately contact Misaki to come along and have a word with him, otherwise it will be a shame for me to handle the situation personally. To be fair though, from boring days became interesting to say the least for my part of the hunt of artifact smugglers. Although he did say something that he was forced to carry those artifacts back to Liberty all the way from Omicron Theta by Corsairs. If what he is saying is true, then we should be prepared more and be aware of their presence.

End transmission...

Konnichiwa,

I encountered a skirmish in the New Tokyo system between the Blood Dragons, Outcasts and a KSP prison transport and its protection. I lend my assistance with my bomber by their request.

The Katori Jingu was nearby, so with Saya's help we searched for all prisoners that survived after Asuncion took some of them to Malta. I flew to a nearby station where I borrowed a freighter for this job. Our salvaged prisoners were taken to Noshima as we haven't identified their affiliation, and there could be GC or Blood Dragon prisoners among them.

811 prisoners were delivered to Noshima where they can be sorted out later. Afterwards I escorted the Katori back to Kinkaku-ji.

Included are the logs and guncams.

Konnichiwa, sisters:

I would like to make a formal complaint about one of our sisters, a loose lady called Yunoki Misaki. The woman in question has been changing her behavior in the recent months, I can only attribute this situation due to my absence where I was busy taking care of the maintenance of Ainu and Morioka. She has become too dependent on me and now that I left her free for some time, I cannot recognize her as how she was: A reckless, drunk sister.

Returning to the cockpit once again, I travelled to Galileo to catch up some prey on the usual trade lane routes, when I caught some screeching background noises on the comms. I found that Misaki-san was hunting a junker called The Great Feller, carrying some suspicious cargo identified as Pennsylvania H-Fuel. The junker showed stubbornness, as he did not respond our questions properly, denying us the real purpose of the cargo.

What I found intriguing about all of this is that Misaki-san did not respond accordingly, killing the guy due to the insult; moreover, she wanted to charge him less than I wanted to. After the junker complied to the fee of 7 millions, we proceeded to follow him to his destination; in order to understand what the fuzz was all about this special delivery.

After 3 boring jumps into the heart of Liberty, we arrived to Pennsylvania (Oh, what a surprise!). Anyways, we reached the end of the road: Bethelheim Station. It was crowded of traders, zoners and even hackers. Without futher intervention, as we did not care much about it, we returned to Kusari for a more substancial reward, for the trip. If people here really want to know what was happening, it was just a doomed Zoner takeover on Liberty or something like that, I did not pay too much attention to it. Ask Misaki-san for more, she is the one that wanted to make this horrendous journey.

At long last, we arrived at Shikoku where, after a friendly conversation with Misaki; she decided to be completely rude with me, starting with how awful my combat skills are. Which, by the way, are excellent; I even destroyed a couple of Maquis battlecruisers by myself. Ok, fine; my sisters helped a bit, but the point is that after Misaki-san got promoted, she has been acting so weird; something that could repercuss in her performance.

As a recommendation for the Matriarch, I suggest putting Misaki-san trapped in a cell, for a week or two, so she can think twice before being so soft to those that are reluctant to help our cause. Also, she should drop the fox that she has been carrying these days; she is clearly being affected emotionally, maybe even developing empathy because of it. I don't want to fly alongside a hugger.

Fly safe, sisters!

Konnichiwa,

Your complaint has been noticed.

But how much contribution have you brought in lately, Sada-san?

Misaki has organised a contest only a few months ago where she paid an entire ship refit, donated two high grade shields and 2 sets of expensive weapons to several Sisters. She is also the one with the highest rate of successful piracy attempts every month. She does fine with or without you.

We have a long standing of positive relations with the Junker Congress. They even aided with the construction of Kinkaku-ji. I can fully understand her hesitation of opening fire on a friendly faction who has shown to be a positive contribution. Perhaps you do not agree with this, but have you ever thought that maybe you have become dependant on her? Because as I see it, she has prevented you from doing something that could harm the Sisterhood in the long run. And for what exactly? You got your panties in a twist and you wanted to see some blood?

Misaki is still drunk most of the time and frankly I don't care about that. If you cannot recognise her, maybe it is because she has grown and you haven't. Perhaps more time out in space will do you good. You can't judge someone on one encounter, you know this. As for the recklessness, She charged into an enemy cruiser alone and destroyed it by chasing it into a planet only a few days ago because she wanted some pearls.

Furthemore I want to remind you that you outrank Yunoki Misaki. Crying to us because one of the Sisters did something you disagreed with while you were right there in the field looks bad on your leadership qualities. Perhaps we should put Yuniko in charge as she seems to be more in control than you are. If she followed your plan, you would have a few boxes of the cargo and a bunch of angry Junkers. Now you got paid, discovered its purpose and some additional intel. Not a bad result in any case.

So what exactly was your complaint again?

Ikeda Yume and sisters:

As I have said before, maintenance was needed in a couple of our bases and I was required by my sisters to make such tasks. Strengthening the structure of the modules and making sure that our life support does not go off suddenly are not quite the most glamorous of jobs; but someone needs to do it; if you want some amateurs to do it, fine by me but if some sisters got out to the vacuum of space due to negligence, the Matriarch will not be happy at all.

With all due respect, if Misaki-san has grown up, I am the Queen of Bretonia. Besides her bravado against a cruiser and some piracy victories, I do not see how she can be better than me, considering the recent circumstances. Kusari Naval Forces have been dwindling for the most part and, even more, the current situation at home has been quite calmed, to say the least. It is no wonder that Misaki could have been improving herself in terms of accomplishments, but it does not say much about further dangerous confrontations or taking drastic decisions that could risk all of us. Additionally, our friendship with Junker’s Congress has done nothing right now; it does not matter if they cooperated in the past, you know that loyalties tend to change, and putting those people on a pedestal could backfire on us; especially if the animosities displayed by that last junker are the norm now.

Regarding the “successful” operation: The intel is worthless, as we are not conducting important duties in Pennsylvania and long-term tasks with doomed Zoners does not sound profitable at all, and we wasted precious time that it made the transaction with the Junker a laughable tip, in comparison to a whole normal patrol through our space.

If you want to leave my complaint as “noticed” only, fine. Whatever. But mark my words, Yume-san: If Misaki screw things up, if she gets sloppy…I will be the first to laugh at her grave; assuming that she did not sacrifice our sisters in the process, in a non-sensical quest to figure out what a drunk woman can do with her ship. Sacrifice is part of our lives, but dying in vain will not serve our cause.

Konnichiwa,

First you complain that Yunoki is not drunk and reckless enough anymore. Now you complain that she is presumibly getting sloppy and start screwing things up for exactly this reason. Make up your mind. What exactly do you want from her? You aren't making any sense.

Regarding the info. Not everything is a worthwhile lead. The amount of information I have to process on a day is also filled with pointless and irrelevant things. For example the conversation we are having. You don't even know what you want.

In the first message I quote:
"The woman in question has been changing her behavior in the recent months, I can only attribute this situation due to my absence where I was busy taking care of the maintenance of Ainu and Morioka. She has become too dependent on me and now that I left her free for some time, I cannot recognize her as how she was: A reckless, drunk sister."

The second message I quote:
"But mark my words, Yume-san: If Misaki screw things up, if she gets sloppy…I will be the first to laugh at her grave; assuming that she did not sacrifice our sisters in the process, in a non-sensical quest to figure out what a drunk woman can do with her ship. So I ask again. What is your complaint?

Ikeda Yume and sisters:

Do I need to clarify this? Really? It is desirable that Misaki stays reckless and drunk. What’s dangerous is that she becomes reckless, drunk AND sloppy. We are all reckless in one way or another, not a big deal there, and “drunk” is basically the standard state of mind for her; the suggested context in the last quote is not odd considering her behavior. But, if she becomes “sloppy”, with this I mean carelessness, letting her guard off, getting too dubitative to handle split-second decisions…well, we could be in serious trouble. I already mentioned this last undesirable attribute, due to her recent softness.

If it needs to be said again, I will clarify it one more time. My complaint is that Misaki-san, even as valuable asset as she is, is getting soft and if that becomes a reality, she could endanger us all.

Furthermore, the lack of seriousness, on behalf of the Communications Officer, amazes me.

“The amount of information I have to process on a day is also filled with pointless and irrelevant things. For example, the conversation we are having. You don't even know what you want.”

You said that it is pointless, but you replied to it. And I am the one that is not making sense, right? As you said before, I outrank her; and if my words are not taken on a more serious tone and you are trying to search a nitpicky and unnecessary quarrel with each word I use, only to defend Misaki; that means that my rank is worth nothing and my accomplishments have been in vain, as I do not have even the authority to suggest how things could be done with lesser members and I do not have enough weight in this organization to make prosper our faithful cause.

Lastly, if the Matriarch considers my words but thinks that I have wronged in this matter, I will accept any necessary punishments to redeem myself and serve GC better. But if I am not even worthy of her attention, I will just move along, step aside so my sisters can accomplish what needs to be done for the future of Gen’an Chrysanthemums; and I will follow my own path.

Sayonara.

The hell are you two blabbering about? I've been listenin' to this for a long damn time and I'm gettin' a little sick of the noise! Maybe it ain't my position to talk like this, but it's stupid that this exists when there's bigger fish to fry. And I ain't exactly been around much lately, either, so I guess I lose double the debate points for that. Been off the grid way too long, apparently. Call it a personal leave, cause it was personal business, and let's leave it at that. Anyways, fact o' the matter is Misaki is hella reliable when you need her most. Had the chance to be her wingwoman on a lotta flights together. I dunno what you saw, but my eyes say she may be a drunken sailor, but she's still sharp as an eagle. Yume's right, one incident ain't nothin' to fret over, especially when you're carrying out crappy, unimportant foreign ops like that which have zilch to do with us.

I'll agree on one point of yours, Aeru. Misaki can be pretty damn blunt and irritating at weird times, but that's just how she is, Hell, maybe I'm one to talk, hah! But maybe you should spend less time malding about what she says or does and think about why she does it, in her shoes, you feel me? Just hustlin' on people who - number one, ain't got beef with us - number two, are friends with us - looks pretty damn stupid to me, and probably to the Junkers too, if your idea went through. And so what if that friendship hasn't done much lately? Just what the heck is the point in burning that bridge over some lousy H-Fuel? I've seen some weird ideas in my time here, but wow. Capital W-O-W! Sheesh. Don't mistake her empathy and understanding of our relations for 'softness', whatever that means. You can be a hesitant, fox-loving softie and still be an ace killer. That ain't exactly a mutual exclusivity. Might be contradictory to care for an animal but take so many lives, but we're all still people despite the drink. I think your worries are crazy talk and that Misaki is nothin' to fret over. She's just fine the way she is.

...And nobody better touch that damned fox unless it's Misaki. Unless you're gonna pet it.

Konnichiwa~~!

Wait... What's with all the ruckus? Don't any of you know how to have some fun? Sure aren't showing the new girls like us a good impression! How are we going to win in the field if we can't win in our relationships? Make up, you two! I haven't seen Misaki yet personally, but I'm sure she can't be as strange as you make it sound, Aeru-san! Surely if you give her some time, there'll be a chance for you to get her vibe. Your differences can melt away with just a little TLC from yours truly! Setsuko is a great DJ! Right, Setsu-chan?

...Don't mind her, she's just thinking any situation can be solved by simply acting this way. We might play like the idols of our movement or whatever she wants to call it, but I know it can get on some people's nerves. Guess she's kinda the dedicated one of this duo, but that's digressing. Look, I can read the room. It's pretty clear to me that Aeru-san's position is one of justified concern, but I guess it could be misplaced. From what you've all said, seems this Misaki-san is still a top gun even if they've got a drinking problem. I think it's best to just let bygones be bygones. All of this is a distraction from the real goal. If Misaki-san shows this alleged sloppiness in more ways than one, then it's time to debate it, but not now.

Aw, can't you just play along for once, Setsu-chan? Well, whatever. She does have a point! And that point is to... stop fighting~! Just let it go and try to spend this energy getting to know Misaki-san instead of scrutinizing her in such a way.
