Command,

This report is for my first patrol, which in all honesty has caught me by surpise. While fulfiling my first shift and departing from Norfolk Shipyard, I decided to take the lanes towards Planet Manhatten, upon reaching nothing seemed out of the ordinary, and moved on next as per patrol protocol towards Fort Bush, where I've encountered something that can, well, be described as odd. While conducting primary scans it came up as an Artificial Intelligence Cruiser ships which posted up on scanner systems as afiliated with the Technocracy. Feeling outranked by this encounter I have decided to conduct the opperation as per usual and request through the normal channels the aid of a superior officer and I got the aid from Commander Luisa Chiavallati and from an afiliate Navy Gunboat under the designation Kishimaro, all fo those will be provided in the black box logs attached to the report. After the executive order from the Commander we have proceed to open fire and we managed without much damage to our ships and us to take down this anomaly.

As per standard procedure, you will find attached below the Black Box Records and the guncam captures,

Subject: Report - 11/15/834 | Second Report, After Action Report

Command,

Before starting this report of a very eventful patrol, I'd like to begin by apologizing about two very big mistakes I've made, which only begin to show that I need more time to review and understand more rather than let my childish excitement and hot shot demeanor take over in situations like those I am about to present in the report. First, I'd like to extend my apologies towards Commander Radakin for calling him on a first base name out on a patrol or unless clearly stated. Secondly, I'd like to extend my apologies to the whole admirality for allowing myself to become overexcited and filled with adrenaline by engaging in a fight after 3 consecutive ones, with a damaged ship and injuries that I sustained. I will fully comply with any punishment deemed fit for these actions that do not deserve to brandish the name of the 46th. However, as I've managed to deliver the Commander's escape pod to one of our facilities, I have decided to extend my patrol against better knowledge, as you will see explained in the legs of this AAR.

Leg 1: Norfolk-Texas-Norfolk

My patrol started out normal as per the Ensign assigned routes and decided to head towards Texas since I have not yet managed to do the assigned route in that system. Upon my entry in the system two trade lanes away from the Texas to New York jump gate, I have encountered an Outcast belonging to the 404th squadron designation. I was quickly followed and asissted by our esteemed Commander Radakin, and after a brief word, we opened fire on the Outcast. Sadly,  I have failed to protect the Commander, but I have successfully managed to tracktor in his escape pod and proceeded to remove the Outcast. After urgently delivering the escape pod on Norfolk and with minimal damage both to my ship and myself, mostly a few nicks on the paintwork and some scratches on me, but also filled with adrenaline, I decided to abandon the normal patrol routes and venture into OntarioF.

Leg 2: Norfolk-Ontario-New York

While in my haste to depart from Norfolk, I forgot to program the restock of my ship and went half-cocked into Ontario, but I realized only when I was just too late that my ship's resources have been from the start halved. Upon nearly completing my patrol, I have encountered a rogue pilot named Scarlet. After another exchange of words and empty threats, she began the attack, and I have gone into riposte, and after quite a quick joust, I have managed to bring her down; however, this time the damage of my ship grew to a noticeable amount, and I managed to dock on Pueblo Station to receive some basic repairs and two bandages on my left arm, which had been bleeding, but I have not realized untill arriving at the station, also due to adrenaline rushing through me. After receiving the basic medical attention and against the pleas of the doctors on station and some warm recommendations from the mechanics, I have decided to fly back towards Norfolk and do one last quick scan around the system, which also quickly became eventful.

Leg 3: New York-Colorado Jumpgate-Norfolk Hospital Wing

The last part of this AAR, in which also I have made grave mistakes, consists of me going back from Ontario, doing the regular ensign assigned route, and out of my own accord, decided to have a quick peak towards the Colorado Jump Gate, but at a distance of 2 trade lanes, scanners have picked up another Outcast, this time belonging to HS Group. While this one had more brains than brawn, having my judgement clouded by the many injuries I have recived across the three fights, the more extensive ones being in this current one, I have advised the Outcast to make a run for it or he would be met with force. He decided that the best course of action was to become aggressive and went from verbal retaliation to heavy fighting in a matter of mere moments. After a very demanding fight that left my ship and myself in something that can be only called, and please excuse the frugal language, a sorry state, a rogue ship appeared and decided to stage a protest, for no real reason. Now having my judgement clouded by the many injuries I have recived across the three fights, but the more extensive ones being in my last fight, I have advised the Rogue to make a run for it or he would be met with force. After denying a second time my demand, I have advised him that I will have to resort to the use of force, to which he responded in kind and wanted to fight. Now being in no shape to fight, and with the last resources that my very loyal ship had, we managed to bring him to a decent amount of damage, but he managed to get the upper hand. However, due to his lack of care or for whatever reason, he did not go after my escape pod. I was picked up half-conscious by our local patrols and brought to the infirmery on Norfolk.

As per our standard procedure, I have left attached the black box logs which I had uploaded to a personal channel, and also the guncam captures. Also, I would like to end with a damage report, a plea for 3 days of rest and I will not take anything more however the moment I can gather the strenght to get out of bed I will be out of here, a truly heartfelt apology, and to await the appropriate sanctions with which I fully agree. The doctors have said the following:
  • Minors cuts around the face caused by glass braking
  • Torso general tumefactions, nothing of sever matter and a cracked rib

Subject: Report - 11/17-18-19/834 | Multiple After Action Report

Command,

This After Action Report details the recent events I have taken part in, as well as those I have come across. They will be listed in order from most recent to least recent, following the pattern of my past reports.

1st Leg: NY Norfolk-Texas-Hudson | USC Employees | 11/19/834

While leaving Norfolk Shipyard, I was approached by two USC staff members. They inquired if I could accompany them to Hudson as they were concerned about their safety amidst increased pirate activity in New York and nearby systems. We met up at West Point Academy while they were traveling from Pennsylvania. After connecting with the transports, two "Mastodon" class Transports were identified as belonging to the USC|-Nashville and USC|-Boston. After leaving West Point, I switched from being at the back to being at the front while traveling from Texas to Hudson. After stoping at the Hudson to Hamburg jump gate I ended my escort and returned to Norfolk and ended my shift.

2nd Leg: NY-Hudson | Task Force Prometheus Incursion | 11/18/834

This daily patrol was filled with a lot of surprises, the first one being encountering again not only Fleet Admiral Martin Kemp-Smith, but also Fleet Admiral Alan Jones of the First Fleet along side memebers of our Alpha Squadron and other pilots from the 46th Fleet and of the First Fleet. Upon quick debrif we were starting as a task force to respond to the threat of an incursion of the Task Force Prometheus. We started from NY to Hudson and regrouped outside of the Wrangell Field, while the members of the task force started to pour in. After being given the order to go in, we started the fight and after having loses on our side, but we managed to get all of our brothers and sisters which had they ships taken down by the insurgents, we managed to dispose of the threat and returned back to Norfolk Medical Wing as per the orders of the Admirals, with Admiral Kemp-Smith taking rear guard in order to ensure the safety of the remaining officers. Below you will see attached as per standard protocol the gun cams of my "Defender" while some of the black box recording have been corrupted to the damage sustined to my ship.

3rd Leg: NY-Pennsylvania | Patrol with the Admirals | 11/17/834

Upon returning form a standard patrol route, outside of Planet Manhatten i've encountered Admiral Alan Jones, stated my rank and name, saluted as per protocol and went ahead to let the Admiral that I will be needing ship repairs from my patrol and that it was a real pleasure to have meet him in person. He then decided to escort me to Norfolk and from there we parted ways. Fortunately my ship needed minimal repairs and it allowed me to be flight ready in about two or so hours. Upon my return for the last leg of my patrol I have enocountered as mentioned before both Admiral Jones and Admiral Kemp-Smith and joined then in a standard patrol of Texas. After entering the system we were joined by officer Callum Hayes for a full sweep of the system we have encountered Lane Hackers around Bethlehem station. After the orders were issued and their refusal to go easy, both the Admiral and officer Hayes, and due the resiliance of the Lane Hackers i was also sent in the fight to aid with their total and complete removal.

As stated you will see the guncams from my Defender but due to extensive damage recived in previous fights my Blackbox was unable to provide all of the recordings, how ever I will attach what has been saved.

Command,

Please do excuse me for coming up with the after action report, quite late, as the time when this happened to when I am writing this has been for a decent amount, but as the good Admiral Kemp-Smith has permitted me to spend some time with the Task Force, I have decided to focus on learning and much as I can form the Vice Admiral Maria Uhmen and have sadly put the importance of the after action report quite behind, however I hope this does not displease the admirality.

The content of this after report refers to the general activity in the Texas system which was prompted by the recent events of the TFP and the insurcency in general, such action being led by our Admiral and Vice Admiral, as well as the with the leader of the Alpha squadron and to my surpise previous memebers of the fleet that sadly I did not manage to have the pleasure to know before the fact. While the general action was a succes I do gotta report that I alongside the leader of the Alpha squadron managed to take down a repeted offender, that I did had the pleasure to interact beforehand with and with the blessing of the admirality I was able to adress, however do to some general issues with my engines and ship controls I had to leave the fight in the more then able hands of the Alpha Squadron which did quick work of the perp.

Below you will find attached the on board guncam from my Defender as the black box logged have been corrputed during a Jump Drive sequance alongside with the Vice Admiral. I do also apologize for the late time of this report, but as for my time with the Task Force keeps me very occupied and I do hope that the admirality would find this as qualifiable excuse.

With urgency to the Command,

Whilest doing a patrol run I was informed that there was criminal activity including but not limited to piracy going on in New York System. My search has led me to West Point where I got directed by a police officer Lane Hackers which were causing the problems were going to Colorado, so I decided to follow. During that the Akhetaten has arrived, and we managed to track the perps to Ozymandies Outpost located in California's D-3 sector, in the bottom left area on the general map and under ten (10) clicks away from Planet Los Angeles and Battleship Concord. Upon our arrival at the location they have proceeded to make mock us and docked on the station before we could do anything else. The Base in question does appear on scanners as a Core-4 Freelancer Installation.

Below I have attached the guncams from my ship both with the perps clearance for docking and also a upclose photo of the base in question, and also the few logs from my blackbox.

Admirality,

Today was a very fruitful day both in events that have happened during my patrol and in encounters that I have had. Now firstly I would like to report that one of our new Cadets who has joined us today, Erick Hines, has completed his first patrol and also has managed to take down a rogue ship, on his first day. Still, I do believe that he would like to make a more detailed report rather than me taking information to fatten my report, and besides I do still remember the first report I made and how nervous I have felt. Now I do want to assure you that I was there to assist the Cadet as I would not even begin to think about risking such younger members well being for some odd reason. Still, since I saw that he was able to take care of the issue himself I decided to let him have the credit for that one.

Now from my end, I would like to report other things some that I think can be deemed quite unique in the sense that I have personally never seen such "coincidences" happen one after the other.

The first thing we found ourselves stationed near the Norfolk Shipyard alongside the Ahketaten, myself, the cadet, and another member of the navy. We have spotted on our long-range scanners at both seventeen and sixteen clicks respectively, in what I can only describe speherical area, since we were not able to make contact before they managed to run away, two nomads, seeing each other appear and disappear at around the same two or three minutes intervals. I was not able to record anything on the gun cams of my ships but I do have the black box communication of these ships being spotted. Naturally, we went and decided to set up a search perimeter where we were also notified that they had popped up, that being the California and Colorado jump gates, but to my disappointment, we were not able to see them, however, I do have reason to believe that they might appear again since they decided to show themselves right in the heart of Liberty.

While not as important as the previous issues listed I do also want to report that we have encountered a Type I Barge fifteen clicks away from Baltimore Shipyard, while a basic scan of the ship showed that everything was in order, I wanted to relate this as well as we might need to keep track of the activity of such major size class ships, flying around the trade lanes and bases from New York. The name of the vessel in question was "Ever.Glory.Monrovia" and we were not able to identify the identity of the captain of the Barge.

Secondly on the list of odd sightings, a couple of minutes after the nomad sightings and our unsuccessful system sweep, we returned to the original starting point of our patrol that being Norfolk shipyard, where we met up with an Order Pilot, named "Empress" who weirdly was aware of the same threat as we were, however, we weren't able to acknowledge her presence until she got into scanner range. Now as you will see posted in the attached black box communications, I tried my best to extract whatever answers she might have had, but I was unable to gain more than we already had, however, it would have appeared that she or rather her presence was a known thing, only I didn't have any idea about her.

On the list of a very active day, while we were trying to see what the Order Pilot knew about this event two rogues decided to show up, a Very Heavy Fighter and a Rogue"Scylla" Class Destroyer named "Scargiver" which was quickly put out of actions by the Akhetaten, while the cadet and I took care of the rogue fighter pilot named "RB-Dolt". You will see below also the gun cams that attribute the kill to the cadet, I will also leave attached the relevant communication that was made with the rogues while I do ask that the admiralty be aware beforehand about their scarcity, since as I am sure for all those years, the brawn to brain ration has never helped the rogues, in this case the situation being the same.

In the last part of this report, I want to state some of the less important parts of the patrol, such as the Xeno we have already dealt with previous Trevon. Bronson which we have not dealt with as he was not a priority target for us and we have also made sure that he did not bother anybody as he was quite in an inebriated state due to self-claimed slog usage, however, he did manage to annoy Captain Brown and myself for that matter. On quite a different note we were also joined by a rather peaceful freelancer named "Lazurith" who seemed to at least know the Order Pilot and another foe of Liberty in the name of the Technocracy Pilot Revenant which also has shown her face quite close after the whole nomad issue and I am inclined to believe that the presence of the nomads unless swiftly dealt with will lead to more unwanted visitors right at our doorstep.

I would like to re-state that below you will find attached the recordings from my black box as well as the recorded gun cams.

To the Command of the 46th Fleet

Today was my first day as a cadet in the 46th Fleet and also my first patrol. It all began, I suppose, as the orientation protocol for new cadets dictates. Lieutenant Katherine Simmons directed me to Norfolk Shipyard and then to the Battleship Missouri where I was fitted with a properly equipped Defender fighter. With everything ready, I left the Battleship Missouri to begin the patrol under the leadership of Lieutenant Simmons.

I must confess now that the events that occurred on this patrol left me quite surprised. The first surprise, and a good one, was getting to know the Battleship Akhetaten and being introduced to Captain Brown. From then on, events did not seem at all usual to me.

I noticed the presence of a Xeno on the radar and immediately thought that we would have some action. There was also a signal from another Liberty Navy ship on the radar. I instinctively began mapping the position of all the ships when I noticed that the Captain was having a friendly conversation with the Xeno. The Lieutenant joined in the conversation, but in a less friendly manner. I soon realized that the Xeno would not be a problem, at least on this patrol.

Suddenly we began to notice the presence of two Nomads on the radar. They appeared and disappeared a few times. We tried to locate them by splitting up and checking the gates of California and Colorado, but were unsuccessful. We then decided to return to the vicinity of Norfolk Shipyard.

After we all arrived at our destination (Norfolk Shipyard), the Lieutenant began planning a route for our patrol. A few moments later, before we began the patrol, we detected the presence of a member of The Order faction on the radar. I began to feel adrenaline rushing through my body, anticipating a possible fight. However, to my surprise, this Order also did not pose any problems. I even imagine that at some point mutual aid between the Liberty Navy and this Order person could happen.

At that moment I realized that I was learning a lesson that I imagine would be valuable: not every contact identified as hostile on the radar is actually an enemy. But I know that I should always be very cautious in the presence of anyone identified as hostile.

After a while, while the Captain and the Lieutenant were exchanging information with this Order person, two Rogues appeared on the radar. At that moment I thought: more hostile friends. But I was wrong. They were a Destroyer and a fighter ready to fight.

Captain Brown gave the orders. The Lieutenant and I focused on the fighter while the Captain focused on the Destroyer. The fight between the Rogue, myself and the Lieutenant lasted a few minutes. We managed to shoot down the Rogue, but I must confess that if it weren't for the Lieutenant's presence, I would have suffered my first ship loss in a fight as a Cadet. Although the ship's hull did not suffer any serious damage, I used almost all of the armor repairers and shield batteries. I am grateful to the Lieutenant for watching my back. After shooting down the Rogue, we began to return to Captain Brown's position when we saw an explosion. Captain Brown shot down the Destroyer Rogue.

I had forgotten to report the presence of a very unusual Freelancer. He seemed to have unconventional connections, such as the Order person and a member of the Technocracy faction who also appeared and had brief contact. These three seemed to know each other and I imagine they were somehow related to the appearance of the Nomads. But this is purely my assumption. I am sure that the Lieutenant and the Captain must have more acute intuitions than I do in these matters.

I did not report names or details of the conversations, which were intriguing at times. These details are contained in the attachment in the form of gun cam footage as well as black box recordings.

To the Command of the 46th Fleet

Today's second patrol was a routine patrol without any major incidents. I triangulated a few times between New York, Pennsylvania and California. It was very quiet, in contrast to the previous patrol, which, by the way, still intrigues me.

At some point I came across a Heavy Tanker whose pilot was in a great hurry and did not notice my greetings. As I found his behavior suspicious, I activated the cruise speed to approach and check the contents of the cargo. Nothing illegal and after checking the cargo the pilot responded. Since everything was OK, I exchanged a quick word and continued my patrol.

Some time later a Bison-class heavy transport whose pilot also seemed to be in a hurry crossed my path. The ship was registered to the DSE corporation and the cargo was also legal. The pilot was not responsive, but since everything was OK with the cargo I figured he must have had a bad morning. I continued my patrol.

Some time later, I came across a hostile signal on the radar identified as a Techno named "Venus" near Norfolk Shipyard. At the same time, the events of the previous patrol rekindled my curiosity. As I was activating the cruise speed to try to get closer, the signal disappeared from the radar. I chose a direction and tried to locate it. When I was almost giving up, a message appeared on the local channel. It was him asking if I was following him.

The conversation that followed took place without my radar locating the signal of the Techno ship. I imagine he must have been using some kind of cloaking device. He did not seem aggressive, quite the opposite. I asked if he knew a Techno named Revenant who was one of the characters involved in the previous patrol. They knew each other, but it seems that Venus was not aware of the events in which Revenant and Empress were involved.

A Freelancer approached while I was talking to Venus. He remained quiet and since an analysis of the ship's cargo and equipment was in order, I didn't bother with him. After making sure that Venus posed no threat and was not involved in the events of the previous patrol, I said goodbye to the two and continued with my patrol, which ended without any further noteworthy events.

Details of names involved and conversations are contained in the attachment in the form of gun cam footage and blackbox recording.

To the Command of the 46th Fleet

Today the patrol took place in the vicinity of the planet Erie. It was a routine patrol and mostly just checking to see if there was anything out of the ordinary among the comings and goings of the various ships going about their business.

At some point I noticed the presence of some pirates on the radar. I aligned the navigation in the direction of the signal on the radar and soon after a Freelancer offered to help. I gladly accepted his help. After a short time we located and shot down the pirates. I found the Freelancer's combat skills impressive in what seemed to be a well-armed transport ship. Quite deservedly he picked up some spoils that were drifting in space and said goodbye.

A few minutes later, very close to the atmosphere of the planet Erie I located a Nomad. I tried to talk to him a little, but honestly sometimes I didn't fully understand his messages. It seemed like he wanted to learn more about us humans despite already having a well-formed and not at all friendly opinion about us.

After a few minutes, he seemed willing to fight. I even imagined that he wanted to do some kind of test of my combat skills. Even though I know that I still have a lot of training to do before I can be considered a good fighter pilot, I accepted the invitation. I was also considering that it would be very valuable to know how that ship maneuvered and also the power of its weapons.

The Nomad's ship seemed to be a light fighter and was very agile. It had a very thin profile, which made aiming very difficult. I managed to get a reasonable hit rate, but the Nomad pilot's accuracy was very high. I'm starting to think that maybe I should try a weapon with a higher rate of fire...

The Nomad pilot won the fight. It was a fair fight and he is a good pilot. Now I will focus on mentally studying the movements we made during the fight to perfect my combat strategy.

Details of names involved and conversations are contained in the attachment in the form of gun cam footage and blackbox recording.

Subject: Report - 12/30/834 | Escort of CDI Convoy

Fox here. The following report details the operation to escort a Bretonian Police (CDI) convoy to the Texas system.

Our forces were due to meet the Bretonian convoy in the border world of Magellan, lying betweeen the Kingdom and Liberty space - at Cordova Shipping Platform.

The Bretonians reputation for punctuality held firm, as they appeared from the Manchester lane not long after I had linked up with our escort fleet designated for this operation, consisting of the Akhetaten and several snubcraft including my own. The CDI convoy was headed by their prison liner, the HMPS-Tayloe, carrying, from what I can gather, Bretonian "expats". The combat-capable ships in their formation consisted of nothing larger than snubcraft, numbering nearly half a dozen. We were additionally joined by agents of the LSF, who no doubt wanted to find if "expats" was code for "undesirables".

We were just about ready to get underway, headed for Planet Houston, Texas, when out of the gray-blue clouds of Magellan - a Lane Hacker appeared. His identification is attached. One singular snubcraft was no threat to our operation, so our minds immediately went to the prospect of a scout, reconnoitering in preparation for an ambush further down the line in Magellan, or in the California system through which we were headed.

The Hacker served no purpose but to needle us and the Bretonians with insults, yet he persisted in following us to California despite Captain Brown's warnings that further interference would result in his termination. Finally, at the New York gate, several of our snubcraft were ordered to take the Hacker out. A brawl erupted between Specter, an LSF agent, and the Hacker. I was ordered to continue with the convoy, therefore I was not able to witness his destruction; I am told he gave our forces quite the fight.

The Convoy traveled through New York without further incident, arriving at Houston with the Liner unscathed, releasing their passengers to immigration authorities on the surface. We rapidly turned tail back to New York, and then California, where the aforementioned scuffle was still underway between the loudmouth Hacker and our men with no decisive blows struck to any ship. It was smooth sailing all the way back to Cordova, where we broke off before the CDI convoy entered Bretonia.

It was a mostly uneventful operation, all things considered, and the target of our efforts reached its destination without as much as a spilled cup of tea, so it was a job well done in my book.

In service to the Republic.
