I know that the renewed Order aggression is ultimately responsible for the recent lockdown

The problem is: Locking down the system means that you make many more enemies than the Order and their allies do. You also make the life of O74 Zoners hard.

Consequently I suggest changing your policies:

Offer the Order and their AI allies the following:

Omega 74 defenses will be set back to Zoner-IFF and stay like this, if they agree to leave O74 with their warships. Both sides stop their aggressive actions. Invite the Zoner groups of O74 to supervise the development as neutral observers.

This way they the conflict potential can be reduced greatly. Furthermore the risk for the defensive stations that can save us all (be it Zoners, Order, Corsairs, every human being) against the alien threat can be reduced by a withdrawal of warship fleets.

We - meaning: all human beings - need these defense stations, especially after we saw that the aliens are capable of destroying whole planets, as we realized when Toldeo died. May these poor souls rest in peace, my prayers reach out to everybody who lost beloved ones.

If the Order and AI do not leave O74, more Zoners will actually see that they are invaders and oppressors. They love to portray the defenses as prison walls, but they ignore that they are Omicron 74's protective shield against what lurks out there.

If they agree to retreat their warships and the ZA keeps their promises, less and less conflict will occur and the situation would likely cool down over the course of the next weeks and months.

In a calm environment, the Omicrons' Defenses can be strengthened and all mankind can profit from defense installations like the ZA built. That would be the true Zoner way... protecting those who decided to live where no one dares to live, in order to be free from foreign reign.

I keep hoping that this might come true.

So please, let us try to stop the vicious circle of violence, provocation and more violence and finally find a solution that keeps the defenses against the Nomads but allows for freedom and peace between all the human being in the Omicrons.
