Today, Doc was but a merchant, delivering a load of aluminum and taking a break while the load was unloaded. He acknowledged the cloaked man that greeted him and gave a gentle acknowledgement of the patrons on station. It was a new crowd and he didn't want to stir up trouble.
"Is my old friend Finnegan still around?" he asked of the barkeep.
"Finnegan? Nope. No one knows where he went," he replied, "but it is nice of you to drop in again. Where to from here, Doc?"
"No too sure, really," he answered, "I like these routes between Freeports and Junker facilities. Arbitor Crow okayed my presence in Puerto Rico so I may head that way. We'll see."
Doc took his drink and had a bite to eat as he waited.

"Well what about a simple shadow messenger system?" claes asked before explaining further, "by limiting the standard sirius 5-KYP3 transmission wave length to a size enabling only specific details and requests, any one marauder can have a direct link to any one Mosquito, at any time, though the purpose of using the shadow encryption is to eliminate pointless drivel, forcing pilots to work out the finer details in space over normal coms" She explained taking a big gulp of her drink. "Would work well, no?"

"Yeah, I guess that could work, I'll get in touch with the boss about it, see what he thinks. Being able to have direct comms would be very helpful in the long run." She takes her drink from the waiter and takes a sip. "Beyond that I don't think there's anything else to cover, unless you have something else?"

"Si, regarding repairs on Fenice at Purto Rico.. how soon can you begin work?" Claes asked drinking another healthy gulp of her firebrand, the drink slowly beginning to do its work making her vision start to blur fractionally. "We need our ship fighting fit as a matter of urgency"

"I can have my best people working on it in less than 48 hours, how does that sound?" She takes another sip of her drink and sets it down on the table.

"that takes a load of my mind, I trust you have installed this type of equipment on ships as large as La Fenice D'oro before?" she said finishing of the drink and placing it down. "do you have any estimate on how long it will take to complete the removal of the old system and the refit of the new one?"

Doc's comm badge sounded. It was the loadmaster, "Doctor, you ship is loaded. It's only scrap metal but if you want to keep helping us out, bring it to Culabra in Puerto Rico."
"At least I know where I'm headed from here," was Doc's response. "I'll be down shortly."
Doc finished his meal, made his way to his ship and left Ivergordon for Culabra.

GM wasn't happy that he had been denied a conversation, however it didn't bother him as he could simply find the Zoner later on and force him to have a conversation. Most likely regarding a transaction of credits into his personal bank account.
Rather than follow in pursuit of the Doc, GM thought his efforts would be wasted, so he spied Claes and Carol at a table, gave a dry chuckle and waved.
Rather than approach them, he decided it would be better to check his resume.
He pulled out a datapad from his pocket and began to read.

"Something like that shouldn't take more than a week tops to do all the work, our people have worked with this tech before, just not on a cruiser, it should be fine. Oh, I should also mention, some of our people are a little, rough around the edges, but they'll get the job done in a timely manner. Seeing her boss wave, she waves back. "Any more questions?"

Claes shakes her head as she downs the last of her drink, "pffaahh! no, thats everything.." she replied standing and offering her hand. "Was nice talking to you amica, we will leave you be now, If you need to speak to somebody regarding the refit on Fenice please contact my chief engineer Eduardo Garcia"
