You want an official faction to invite you? Are you special or unique, one of a kind?

And why in the first place would this server need people who are pissed off because they cant buy the biggest ship? Quality over quantity

No, I want official factions to invite new people.

It's amazing how some people here fail to understand the most simple things.

Invite new people, thats what I meant, stop posting bullfeces that people dont understand what you mean, when, what you mean is almost as obvious as it can get.

Now I am beginning to wonder if you are one of those guys who are seasonal in Disco, coming here, whining about something, getting abuse and then quit when they find some greener fields.

Join my wing!" will work much better. Official faction should be the ones who are best at this. Instead, most official faction members fly around telling people how much better they are than them, and how they will never be good enough to deserve to join their faction. Guess what... people aren't going to want to be your friend if you do that.

I never experienced this from any official faction member. I´m not saying it ever didn´t happen but you are talking about like it is on daily basis from majority from official factions and it´s members. What is not true at all from my experience.

You forgot
"No, you can't fly battleship now"
And then, suddenly, all those wishing to become aces, making friends and great RP disappearing.

Oh common! We should be happy, that at least some new players are interested in staying here for a bit longer, and purchasing battleship and having short feeling of happynes in game.

How about "We will teach you to have more fun in a snub, even if right now you want to fly a battleship on an indy char."?

RE: Making the wrong impression on new players - Sath - 06-09-2014

Why would you expect someone to teach you????

Seriously though, if you just type "/conn" in any base without cargo, you will be taken to a system called Connecticut, where you can ask some players to teach you the tips regarding PvP.

How about: "Nobody force anyone to fly a ship that he doesn't want?"

Guys, realy, whats wrong with you? If player having fun flying BS and not abyssing anyone with it, it's such a problem?

The actual problem was with random newbies asking money to fly a Battleship. And then it was diverted to, "Why dont people teach new players snub PvP instead of killing them (as if everyone knows who is new and who is a vet, lol) by someone.

RE: Making the wrong impression on new players - Lonely_Ghost - 06-09-2014

And still, it's such a huge problem, when new player asking for money? On a ship with lvl 80 and more, expect to have such contactors. If you have time, just say to player, how he could get that money, if you don't have time- ignore.

If I can kill someone easily, he's new, if I can't-he's vet. Despite some "new" can play this game twice more time than me. And some "vets"'ve joined disco in the end of 2013
