The Blossom Heavy Fighter is (or was?) bugged to have an overly massive shield hit box with a completely missing hull hit box, which meant shots passed right through the ship hull. I'm curious whether or not this was one of the critical gameplay bugs fixed?

This was one of the addressed critical bugs.

Sorry if this was already mentioned by someone but... after installing update 7a (I am playing in single player) the game does not show any ships anymore, I can not aim ships or other object (the only way to aim something is to mark it as waypoint on the map). Is there a workaround to this?

Are you using old saves? Try starting a new game and see if it still does it. If so, take your issue to the help skype chat, or to the help+support section of the forum

You might have the Dicovery Scanner. The Discovery Scanner is now removed, and its ranges reduced to 0. So, you might need to switch to any other scanner.

Which was a bad call imo, they should have just made it identical to the adv deep scanner, or something.

Hello,
Can't get the Update 7a, through the auto update or the link provided, tried many times and it keeps failing shortly into the download.
Can somebody please provide alternative or torrent perhaps.

Download the update and Copy Paste the contents into disco folder,
Select "Merge Folders",
