I had another encounter with a Core pilot the other day by the name of Core|Slash. I had just undocked with Freeport 11 in a Scimitar to do a patrol around Freeport 11 when we met. Like the last encounter with Core it quickly devolved into an insult match but towards the end of the conversation the Core claimed that Freeport 11 no longer had a No Fire Zone. We might want to contact the CoF and see if this Core Pilot was just spouting some BS or if his Claim was true because if it is we may want to change to a different approach to our operations in Omicron Delta. In the end the no shots were fired but the Core did threaten to attack next time he saw me there.

Command, I'd advise you take heed to this. A few days ago, I was hitching a ride aboard one of our transports bound for Liberty, in line with assignment marked 2763A issued by Cardinal Olmos. Midway through this route, we passed by Barrier Gate, in the usual manner-- but something was off. The ship was approached by an AFC vessel -I believe even one I've encountered before, breaking our border laws- and began talking with the Captain of the transport. It was about then that I made it to the bridge, and took command of the situation, ordering the ship to hold at the Cortez Jumphole while we awaited it to become Phase-aligned.
Flying with the AFC was one [ELF] marked vessel, which I have identified as the Erisian Liberation Front a group that appears to be a more piracy-oriented sect of the same Erisian Order that the TAZ belong to. I knew little of the intentions of the ELF, but the AFC was making it's intentions clear: "Stop, and drop your the Cardamine"
Prior to this, we had already turned Engine-trail and left, heading for Barrier Gate. The Captain was competent at what he did, but I wasn't about to turn one of our less-expirenced pilots and gunner-crews to a long knife-fight in a turbulent asteroid field willingly, so I figured security aboard Barrier Gate was the best bet for the cargo, and the Crew.
As we fled, the AFC firing the whole way, a oddly tagged Colonial appeared -showing absolutely no respect for etiquette and speaking before firing- and assisted the AFC in his efforts to destroy the transport.
Now, the transport is fine, and the actions of the Archangel was not unexpected; but in the chaos I couldn't make out the actions of the Erisian. You all may want to keep an eye on this; the Erisians have been friends to the Cross before, but this one made absolutely no effort to assist, nor get the AFC to desist in their actions. I'd advise contact with them for an explanation.
The transport's blackbox wasn't anywhere near working order, and guncams were unavailable. I was however able to bounce a signal off a nearby comm buoy and get a partial image. It is attached below.
Finally, to Cardinal Olmos:
Cover was not blown, nobody involved in the operation's targeting parameters was in-system, operations proceeded as planned (I caught a ride with a food-transport bound for Pittsburgh and took public transport from there to the target zone)

It's been a while since i made one of these!
I've got a few things to report because this was a rather interesting patrol. First of all, I cam across an IMG Battlecruiser under the name of Zger. He was quite an idiotic captain firing on everything he came across only to moor with Java Station...
Then, I came across a Kusari Exile. Took care of that quickly and efficiently. Finally, I saw some Liberty personal up in the Taus fighting the KNF for some reason? I wonder what they were doing. They were under the transponders of "D9|". Strange. I decided to stay completely out of that fight.

I would like to thank Teniente Isabel Ramos and fellow Capitán Kenneth Matzke for assisting me on my “donation” run in the Taus the other day. It was a huge success but me and Isabel Ramos an Interspace transport by the name of “IC.Adam_Smith” for some donations was definitely the highlight of the whole run. I am attaching the logs of the encounter for everyone to enjoy.
Also, I would just like to make sure Sargent Kaia is alright. Last I heard she took some major damage from a Gallic Junker that attacked us during a cardamine convoy. It was thanks to Kaia that me and two 101st transports were able to make the convoy intact. I hope she was able to make it back to Cali base unharmed.

I had a rather strange encounter earlier today with a Solar Runner affiliated Zoner cruiser called (SolaR[X]-Ganymede in Sigma-13. He had contacted Manoel Outpost asking for a representative of Crimson Cross to meet him. My first impression of the cruiser was not a good one, not only was the cruiser the Zoner was flying of Colonial design of all things but upon inspection of his cargo hold I discovered and strange device matching description of the Artifacts that the Spirits sometime give their servants.

However, my opinion of the Zoner improved quite a bit upon him informing me that he was here to bring the artifact to the Outcasts instead of the fools in the Order. I am still not quite sure I believe his story about just stumbling upon in the Omegas but since he was here to give it to us I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I did mention someone from the Crimson Council might contact him with some more questions so feel free to send him a message if you wish to know more.
As of now I have the the artifact secured in my bombers hold in Manoel Outpost and I am waiting for any orders you may have regarding what I should do with such precious cargo. If you want me to bring it back to Maltese space I would request an escort, even if Sigma-13 isn’t too far away I wouldn’t want to let the artifact fall into enemy hands if I were to be ambushed.

Unfortunately, the encounter did not go well and Sabina and I took heavy damage before reaching Cali to make repairs. The sensor data of the event was also unfortunately damaged.
On an unrelated note, I would like to thank the command for my candidacy for the Inquisitor's Guild. I would hope that this recent combat performance won't hinder my chances, but given that Sabina also had to retreat, I believe that it should pose no problem. Other than that, I will happily carry out my new duties under Inquisitor Espinosa and hope that I will exceed her expectations.

Command,
Today I, Capitan Venneri, and Capitan Matske departed from Cali Base to form an interdiction net in Tau-23. We were not in space for long before we had a visitor - message logs attached.
At this point we were interrupted rather rudely by a trio of Unione Corse ships; one bomber, one fighter, and one Asco-class gunship. As the logs reflect, hostilies did not take long to commence. Only one guncam image survived the ensuing firefight, as much of my ship had been hit repeatedly by ordinance from the enemy: [1]
First, they took out our Tridente, then they took out Capitan Venneri's bomber. I ended up in a duel with their bomber pilot, while the rest of their forces (which another snubfighter had joined) hung back and watched. It was not until a fourth Cross pilot, Alonso Rosario, launched from Alpha and flew to my aid that I was able to beat the enemy bomber back and disable it while he dealt with the two snubcraft. The gunship retreated soon after, and I was able to land on Cali Base for repairs with my ship mostly intact.
A convoy consisting of my transport Arancione, Capitan Venneri's transport Cappucino, and Soldado Antonio Gagliardi successfully and uneventfully spread the orange dream to Rheinland, and returned with munitions to Omicron Alpha.
Later on that day, I successfully pirated a transport running the callsign 'Elora'. [1]
Still later, and much to our surprise, we found not one but two enemy installations being constructed by the IMG. The first one we found by backtracking the trail of an IDF marked transport to its point of origin. The second base will primarily be reported on from Capitan Venneri's perspective, as she was in command for the ensuing assault. Sargent Kaia was also present at this point in the patrol.

Which, when traced back to his point of origin led to this...
Proving it has a shield.

As a final note, I managed to stop and collect a donation from the owner of the base we destroyed as he fled the station. Nikta, (presumably) the owner of the late 'Nikta Storage'.

I would like to make a few additions to Soldado Mendes’ report. First of all, on my way to rendezvous with Mendes to have him show me the IMG Research Station I came across a Gallic craft with an IFF that belongs to the Maquis by the name of [HdR]Brigitte-Lahaie. I decided to talk to the ship instead of engaging as I personally think of the Maquis of potential allies against the rest of the gaul scum. He tried to play confused and lost but I have a feeling that he was just trying to play me but I went along with the act. Eventually we parted way, I would advise other crusaders that come across any Maquis in the Taus to try and get more information from them and report any interactions you may have with them.
Also, as Mendes had mentioned. Not only did we come across the IMG Research Station but we also found another less defended IMG station by the name of Nikta Storage Facility. Due to its incredibly weak defences I made the decision to destroy the station before it became reinforced. With only the combined force of me and Mendes’ bombers as well as a freelancer bomber I hired we were able to take the base down. Hopefully they don’t try and rebuild the installation, we don’t need more places for those miners to run too. Kaia was there as well to provide fighter support if we were interrupted.

On a side note, the Freelancer whose ship name was “Epsilon” claimed to know Inquisitor Espinosa. He said his name was Geoff, he seemed a bit strange but he did assist us in destroying the station so he must be an alright person.
