After reading it the only thing came to my mind, was make it a bit more clear right off the bat some of the major changes and general summary. I like it i am just feeling that it could use a but more clarity.

Alright. Enough slumber. Time to get this thing rolling. I was assigned as editorand I am hoping to "Make Mod DB page great again". But as always, I welcome all ideas and proposals what could be featured to attract more attention to our mod.

Good to see someone is finally working on this again. Just do me a favour and don't die out (or your team if there's a new one) or leave it down to one person to pick up the page because it's not fun if only one person does the work :/
Anyway. All announcements have to be approved by ModDB before they can be shown on the front page of ModDB (That automatically happens when you post an announcement). The staff can approve or disapprove threads and stop them from showing up on the front page and only on our ModDB page.
In order to stop this from happening make sure you format it well and add a good amount of pictures in. Thats where we fell down last time. Dont make it block text. Take a look at some of the front page articles to see what they have done. We'd normally get about 20 views a day on images and videos so just imagine how much more we'd get from front page work.
Oh, if you don't have a ModDB account that can post stuff (because it was bloody hard to sort rights out) I turned my ModDB account (With almost full rights, just can't set permissions up) into a global account for the team to use. If yo u need it, PM me on the forums and I'll give it too you and the rest of the team to use.

So, guys what is going on? The moddb page still looks crappy, the last update was somewhen in january and the members of the moddb-team haven't visited the moddb site for weeks or even months. ModDB is No.1 area attracting new players and I have offered myself for helping with it.

I would write a more motivating ad than the existing one, if I wasn't sure that "the community" didn't actually deserve it, or that the "fresh meat" wouldn't be beaten up and chased off for the crime of playing the game within a few weeks.

ModDB is back up and running, and more or less at an updated point where it is functional again.
Now we need all kinds of pretty pictures, and videos to go along on the site - submit images and videos in the relevant places to keep things tidy/so we don't miss anything please!!
