Is "monotonic" bad? I mean, I like the texturing of both the Voyager and the Serenity, both are simply light grey with very few red stripes on the Serenity, basically none on the Voyager, but my opinion still not changed about how wrong/asynchronous/disharmonic the texture job turned out to be on the Sunburst replacement with all the randomly mixed generic light grey and Liberty purplish grey textures. What happened between the two?

Consider the Raven's Talon or Waran - both are reasonably detailed models and textures, but in-game they just come out very dark and too uniform. It's less of an issue with lighter-coloured textures since they reflect ambient lighting a bit better. /opinion

I waiting for the time, When you will say "Final version"

RE: Havoc mk III WIP - Quetz - 06-12-2015

Nice work. But the front part near the cockpit is a bit too flat, eh? Please make it thicker. That part also looks fragile to me.

RE: Havoc mk III WIP - Swallow - 06-12-2015

I am following the current Havok shapes hoping that folks would rather prefer it over something completely new.

I will finish the model today, just have to go on exams now, so weÍ´ll see how texturejob turned out.

For curious ones: Voyager and Serenity use utility textures along with bretonian ones.

RE: Havoc mk III WIP - Lord Caedus - 06-12-2015

The most recent WIP you showed looks like the lovechild of the Upholder and the Pytho. Not that that's a bad thing.

Done, minor fixing may be done though.

Eh... Not a fan of the black and yellow hazard stripes.

I am very sorry, but I will keep them because mk II had it as well.

RE: Havoc mk III WIP - Quetz - 06-12-2015

Yay! Better texture! Couldn't wait for its final form.. *jitters around*

RE: Havoc mk III WIP - Echo 7-7 - 06-12-2015

Hazard stripes are a nice callback to the Havoc Mk II.

Is the p3d link in the OP the latest version?

The textures are a noticable improvement; but around the upper/central hull, there are some sharp edges/angles that are visible through the texture.
