Sleek.. I like it. But, is it just me, or its front wings(or heatsinks?) are a bit short?

Approved.

Let them be, I'd just put guns there.

What are you thinking for gun mounts? Nose points, first projection and wing tips?

RE: Lane hacker shipline. WIP - Swallow - 06-29-2015

Wings will hold four guns and two more I will settle in the middle section.
Mesh is not complete - keep it in mind.

Looks nice. As to the idea of a guardian and a rapier mixed.. Well, guardian thrown in randomly doesn't really make sense for LH. It did for HF since most are ex-LN.

You have done some fine work there!

We have talked with a developer about the model. The idea to seek inspiration from the Bayonet was a good call, but the developers won't accept as LH ship, a VHF version of the Bayonet. So our recommendation is a number of alterations on the draft that you posted.
  1. Curve the axis of the wings of the ship. Example. That would solve the "too flat" problem.
  2. Kudos for that object you put between the engines, if textured correctly it could look like a sophisticated scanning device.
  3. The pseudo-wings which are located right and left of the cockpit to become more sophisticated than a single rectangular extension. Perhaps to make them broader in the rear and as we move forward to turn more sharp? Example (you can play with their length too if you find it appropriate)
  4. The modified model gives us some ideas that it could support exhausts in its profile too. Not as extensive as a Rapier of course, but we think it's something worthy of investigation.

That would be all for now. Thank you for your time!

Great, I will try those out.

RE: Lane hacker shipline. WIP - Mímir - 06-30-2015

I love it!

Maybe make scale the area behind the cockpit up a little, so that the front profile will be less flat (sort of like current Insurgent and similar ships - a bubble on a wing when seen from the front)? Maybe steal the grille or some of the exhaust details from the Rapier to add a modern Outcast trait to a VERY LH-ish model?

Again, awesome model!

This looks very much like a bayonet... which i dont mind but... if you look at the bayonet the back of it where the engines are are well done. This however... the engines are quite exposed. There is nothing to hid them and therefore the back to me looks quite unpleasant. Since that is the part that we will look at the most I would suggest adding some sexyness to the back please.

Add some curve element to it. You know the part of a bike that is supposed to block dirt from coming up with the wheel? maybe have something like that to hide the engines? Or make the engines maybe 4 exhaust or something. Right now they are tiny and boxy... and not elegant.
