RE: Are you entitled to win? - Fluffyball - 08-02-2015 I think, as someone just pointed out (and I did myself) the problem isn't the losing itself. The problem is losing in a gank. HOWEVER. I pointed out somewhere that, if we put a newbie and veteran player into the very same ships with same equipment, both using screen resolutions and so on, it is already won by the veteran player. And I believe this is understandable, on the one hand, to weaker players snub-ganking the veteran players (in snubs) - but if it is the veteran side ganking, it's not just wrong, it's an open abuse. Of course, I'm not speaking about bringing solaris gunboat or dessie into a snub fight, this one is just wrong. Not all 4 vs 4 games are equal. Not all 3 vs 5 are "bad" ganks. The game isn't and will never be balanced. RE: Are you entitled to win? - Yber - 08-02-2015 Lol this thread. Don't roleplay being good at the game if you can't enforce it. The main problem is that most people who claim to just want to have fun want to ruin others' fun. A player that isn't capable of leaving the winning side to join the other one is bad and will remain bad. You can care about loosing because they've 4 guys and you have 1. Or you can just not care at all and obliterate them. Maybe then they'll split in different sides. After all, loosing 1v4 is natural, and loosing 4v1 is embarrasing. This thread is so pointless. There's other problem - players unwilling to do something more than "just pew everything in Liberty". This is not our fault that players are not interested into anything besides Liberty - especially if it is exotic Kusari. I have never seen you on Exile side. RE: Are you entitled to win? - Mímir - 08-02-2015 ^You are entering dangerous forum-PVP territory, beware ![]() Pew pew. RE: Are you entitled to win? - Yber - 08-02-2015 I'm not even going to bother. Ingame actions should tell what happens in the forums, not the other way around. I dare to say the same, since you do not understand that RP > PvP in certain cases. As I wrote and I will repeat it again: I haven't seen you on Exile side any single time. Previous attempts to have forumlancer dictate freelancer ended in the zoner's tears meme, and the daily "raid gamma everyday playbook". Ahh fun times. undocking from crete into the mother of all furballs; pvp and rp hand in hand.... reminded me of simpler times on FLU. |
