Just waiting to receive the files. RE: [WANTED] Unique Mako Editing - Operator - 07-15-2016 oh well then RE: [WANTED] Unique Mako Editing - eigos - 07-15-2016 Keep us posted on the progress, I wanna see how it looks with the textures RE: [WANTED] Unique Mako Editing - Sombs - 07-15-2016 I'll try the texturing next week. Don't worry, I'll somehow manage it. RE: [WANTED] Unique Mako Editing - Sombs - 08-19-2016 So I was able to open up the .obj files in TrueSpace finally and edited and fixed the things myself. Now it looks like this: However, now I have a problem, as the converters I tried flip the faces randomly, as I need the converters to make the .cob model to an .obj model. That looks like this: That's not good. Does anyone know how to fix this? RE: [WANTED] Unique Mako Editing - Piombo65 - 08-19-2016 I would continue to help you but I can't convert the file in .cmp! The application crashes! RE: [WANTED] Unique Mako Editing - eigos - 08-20-2016 Why aren't you using a 3d program that actually works with OBJ files instead? That *.COB format looks shady and every time you have to convert something, it's gonna create problems. Switch to Blender and profit out of it. P.S. Nice edit on the Mako! RE: [WANTED] Unique Mako Editing - Sombs - 08-20-2016 Because I used TrueSpace for years, doing models for Freespace 2 mods. I never got along with Blender, it's horrible to learn how to handle it, especially if you're used to work with other tools. I'll try some other converters later when I'm back on my home PC. RE: [WANTED] Unique Mako Editing - Sombs - 08-20-2016 Link to p3d.in Managed to fix the converter issue by saving it as DirectX-file. |
