Mr Reeves,

I am contacting you with an update over the Harmony situation. As you are probably aware the extraction operation was a costly success, and the survivors of the Battlegroup along with members of the LSF were evacuated in southern Liberty where a second operation was planned to take them to the Barrier, in our hideout.

However, despite our best efforts the Harmony members dispersed and the chain of command has broken down. At this point we cannot even establish contact. Subsequently the second operation is cancelled.

If we have any new updates over this, I will certainly notify you.

I'm incredibly disappointed to be hearing that this is the news delivered for the culmination of what was a meticulously planned operation.

I will however choose to take your word that this is the actual outcome of things, if they dispersed its more than likely that subsequent patrols merely found them and killed them, their strength and ability to survive this ordeal lay in their unity and ironically their 'harmony' with one another.

If, these people do prove to be infectees however, you and I have been part of their escape rather than their elimination. A thought I hope never comes to be a part of our reality, if that is indeed the case, I do sincerely hope all of them have been reduced to corpses in some pile of wreckage dotting the numerous debris fields. If this is not the case, then my conscience is clear and I can only hope a few of them made it past constant regimental patrols with their sanity and ideals intact.

Regardless, Mister Yoshida I must urge you to remain firm in this regard. If any of these pilots do return, I want no corners cut and no stones left unturned. Treat them as you would any alien sympathizer until proved and confirmed otherwise by whatever methods you have at your disposal. With that, I look forward to future updates and will continue our talks just as they proceeded long before these events transpired.

I'm sure we'll have plenty of work to concern ourselves with, for this is certainly far from the end of our paths. But do enlighten me, what's become of this meeting you proposed to me? I ask because I need to know when I must go about the process of making myself available, so do inform me if this meeting is still part of your priorities.

I fully understand the implications, Operative. Worry not.

As for the proposed meeting, that invitation was made when our relationship was different, when you deferred to my wisdom and fully trusted me. Unfortunately our relations has been renegotiated since then, it is your decision which I respect, but you cannot be part of what will happen not too long from this day. Billions of lives will be affected, Mr Reeves.

I'd like to clarify the outburst that's most likely led you to believe that my trust in you has negated.

I am rather unfortunately someone who suffers from post traumatic stress disorder, regardless of my own will and disciplines, I am inevitably prone to an outburst of some sort. Something you were witness to. Having said that, I can only apologize for what I'd do recklessly said, for I do not see our partnership in any way different from how it began.

Should you choose to let me continue to be your informant and partner and perhaps with a little redemption, a friend, I'd be glad.

I've put a lot on the line and gone out of my way to aid your cause. I'd be bewildered if such behavior couldn't be classified as partnership and friendship.

Let me know how else I may sufficiently mend a situation caused by my own inevitable weakness. For I do in all honesty want to continue doing my part whilst trusting in both a person and cause that I can relate to far better than all the years I've spent being a forced patriot.

Regarding your figurative or even literal chess-pieces, take your time. It's been quite some time since I've heard from you last, Mister Yoshida. I can only express concern as to your current well-being. Assuming you are listening, I've been far from idle and have used my spare time to move my own pieces and get a feel of the entire board thus far. Most recently involving a group known as the O.R.G who appear to have equally as efficient or... inefficient as their other order-affiliated counter-parts have been in matters of communication.

Quite a shame that an organization with the scope to protect all of Sirius rarely cooperates in a sense that will actually bring about prosperity and security. But I digress from the real reason that I contacted you, which was to inquire when I'd need to make myself mobile for this meeting you mentioned so long ago. Call it a status update if you will, purely to make coordination easier for myself. One can never be too careful when attending meetings as clandestine as I expect this one to be.

On a potentially interesting note, there have been several incursions made by the nomads into the very heart of Liberty within the recent months, all of which have been met with swift response and quelled for now. Though I feel it is simply a matter of time before these incursions mount in frequency and in size, which given the current circumstances is far from a comforting thought, even more so if this were to become a reality. I'll be requiring your help in the future for a special project or perhaps two, but that's all best discussed in person. If the Order remains reluctant to put a good hand forward, someone will need to go about the task of securing humanity themselves, this task may as well begin with us, at least it'll see progress then on a much wider scale.

Please do tell me if there's anything you need done, I have a specific set of skills that are available for use, as a friend all you need do to avail these skills is ask. Notify me of any changes or new assignments, much like the task you requested from me regarding Battlegroup Harmony, though there is much more I could do in the way of subterfuge and sabotage.
